Finally I managed to finish a month with 4+ bb/100 hands.
I have been consistent, but with winrates of 2-2.5 bb/100, and this is the first time FR that I play 30+ hands with 4bb/100.
Maybe I am learning?!
I have been running decent enough not to complain, just some short-lived bad runs here and there, but I am satisfied with how I play...
I think I can count the number of retarded plays I made this month, whereas in previous months it was too many to keep track of.
Also I feel very comfortable playing now. I think money during poker has no value for me now, they are just chips. Its really becoming like a computer game.
So what did I do different this month?
One thing is for sure, I have been drinking more and going to pubs more often, especially at university.
Decent sleep... definitely. also lots of swimming and playing soccer.
So I think I keep on doing those things.
My bankroll now : 4.5k so this was a 16~17 buyin downswing.
I swear I woke up focused and ready to play good poker but it went so bad I don't know if I even believe this game is about skill anymore. The deck was just as cold as absolute zero, had to lay down sick hands and got horrible cooler. Never got paid for my big hands either...
I'm especially sick of everything else like school and my dumbfuck parents now I'm sick of poker and I lost all I had won in the past months...
All the hard work and even worst than no rewards...
Just spent a morning at about 60bb/100. Had a bad beat or two but the cards were generally kind to me. Didn't have to rely on luck and river etc, I always put the money in ahead, but I kept flopping two pairs, sets, straight draws, flush draws etc. Overpairs when people had TPTK. I hit every flop you can hope for and the money flowed in.

Oh, and I got fucked on 10nl last night so I'm sticking to 5nl for now.
The "fat ass" girl was there also.
I was surprised that she did look alot better than when i saw her last time ( 4 weeks ago)

Made a couple misjudgements on a couple players folding abilitys too but thats ok since those kinda plays will work higher up i guess.

I try in every way to control my tilt and just focus on the hand I'm playing... but that is utterly failing, cause they all have the cash and I have all the tilt now.

What's up. I got midterm week/a trip to Montreal coming up this week so I think today concludes my poker playing. Put in 1.5k hands today and busted some MTT/Freerolls cause I suck. This month has been really successful and I ran really well and generally was extremely lucky. Hopefully I don't lose it all too fast.

I seem to do much better on the regular week than I do on the weekend when people start bluffing left and right and the tables are seeing %40 of the flops and up. I dunno why. I always feel like I'm making big money cause I stack people left and right, but when I'm done I end up being down a buyin or 2. Here's a bunch of hands from last night's sessions that may have been the leaks which gave me an overall loss.... help plz.
1) Bad play with JJ? I was pretty sure that I was ahead of all these guys and I was right, but when they collectively call I'm now behind to win the pot. Figured I would either get all folds or 1 call with someone behind, and I was wrong on that, got 3 calls with 3 behind. Is this a longterm +ev move?
2) No read on this guy and I'm guessing He's on Ak, Aq, Aj, KQs, AA, KK, QQ, JJ... maybe he's going a bit crazy with a smaller hand, but any pocket pair is ahead of me on this flop by a lot. Is this a time to bet out, Cr, or check/fold?
6) Villain running 16.4/5.9/1.11 - never Cr'd, went to showdown 20% and won @ showdown 25%, and he rarely ever cold called raises. His PF call had me put him on a pair or AK and with that bet I figured he hit his set. Thoughts?
8) This guy was a super tight nit, and this was his first time raising preflop in about 70 hands. I figured he had AA KK QQ AK. Felt that if I flopped a set he'd get it all in with AA or KK as an overpair. My dream came true and turned into a nightmare... oh well, was it a good play or not? His turn check got me thinking "I really hope he doesn't have QQ"
Lastnight I went to the gym at 6:30pm started my leg routine, and quickly got a call from my friend Bobby saying that he's picking up a pool table for his apartment and could use some lifters. So, I finish my up my leg routine at around 7:30 (skip out on calves) and jump in a car with 4 other of my friends. We drive the car + a Uhaul truck to Rockland County about 20 minutes away, over the Tappan Zee Bridge. We get to the ladies house and this pool table is sick. It's regulation size something like 9 feet by 4 1/2 feet and weighs over 1k lbs. We have 5 guys and 2 dolly's, so our plumber friend ratches off the nuts on the legs. We finally get this thing up and into the uhaul truck. Before we leave, the lady was like oh, do you guys want a full keg + a tap? And we were just like hellllllz yeah! so we picked that up as well, now all we need to do is fill the keg whenever we want, and two of our friends who helped move it, work at a bar soo niiiice.
So, we finally got the damn pool table in the house, and used a torpedo level to make the table all even. We called a few more people over and tapped the keg and got more beer, played pool all night and Madden. I finally got home at 2am and wasn't too tired nor too drunk, so decided to play a little poker. After my trips on the flop (allin) got sucked out by top pair + flush draw and another hand where all in on flop my trip 6's got busted by a turned straight i was down 25 bucks. Sweeet end!!! Played a little this morning and made about 30 bucks.. so I'm content.

Then straight vs triple aces into fullhouse and lose, both hand deepstack. Just a tons of other bullshit like TPTK vs overpair into re-raised pot. Other shit like river straight vs rivered fullhouse. Got sucked out by donkeys quite a few hand... was pretty tilted of yesterday horrible session, but this proved to be much worst(I went to sleep before I tilt...). KK into A board in 3bet, people calling for set odds in 3 bet... horrible crap beats. Draws not hitting. I dled a shitload of cardrunner video and got the hellgate london beta but I doN't even feel like playing.
I really wanted this weekend to be a good learning/winning session but eh. Hopefully I'Ll be break even at the end of this weekend..

Well just played a very short morning NL 10 6 table session after i woke up and made 12 $ in 200 hands ( half an hour or so)
then i took breakfast and decided invest the 12$ into Heads up SNG 2+10$ and have some fun while adding another few dollars.
played 6 SNG and lost half of the money
I feel like beating someone up right now ...
Its only 6 $ which i will make back in like 20 minutes of cashgame poker.
but the way i lost the money just makes me feel so sick.

Then I went to eat sth with my dad cause he's still in Manchester. Then I came back and drank a few beers and some vodka since it was one of my flatmate's birthday. We went out to some place called Billy Rox or sth like that which was filled with 40yr old MIWLFs (W stands for "wouldn't" ) so we check/folded on the flop and went somewhere else after having a drink. When we finally got there (after 20+ mins of walking) it turned out that most of peoplez wanna go back to our flat. So some peoplez decided to go to gay village. Me and few other peoplez took a taxi and I had like 1 more beer and then went to bed.
I woke up like and hour ago and I'm quite hangover. Plus I'm soooo thirsty and I don't have anything to drink. Meh, variance. I also have to cook sth today cause I bought some beef like a week ago and it's supposed to be used until today. I'm gonna do chilli con carne I think (mine is better than the ones in any english pub/restaurant obv). In the evening some of my friends are going out and everyone has to get some sort of costume. I dunno if I wanna go plus I don't have a costume so I'll see. What line should I take in this spot?
I haven`t uploaded for some time now, actually after i fixed my game i had some more bad luck which caused some more spewy moves by me. The problem always is that losing just makes me play worse most of the time. I think i finally got back my oooold poker mental approach to bad beats and stuff. Which is do the most EV+ moves u can and don`t look at the balance tab in the tracker while u play
I won`t talk bout the bad days since u`v all seen beats and its not interesting at all. During the time i haven`t uploaded i played few hands a day not that concentrated and motivated. Last few days is diffrent, i just play as close to my A game as I can all the time. So yesterday i was just going to bed at like 2am when i felt like playing. I was already down 2bi due to two 2outers. Although feeling like playing i wasn`t in the mood for 9tabling 6max kinda action ( yeah i got back to mass multitabling with a reasonable stats of 18/14/3 - ur usual midstakes reg ) So i opened the 4 available on prima fullring tables at 100nl. The tables soon got to 3-4 handed and i found how sweet it is to play shorthanded against fullring players No diss to anybody but fullring players at midstakes are TERRIBLE. I also had very good luck and the results of my midnight fullring session are here :
Ok so now i go back to 200nl today or tomorrow and if i got fckd by bad luck or whatever i`ll regrind again and go back up till i get there. Hope to post some good results from 200nl soon. Cya
