well just got from a grueling grind session at 100nl. went back and forth after dropping 2bi early to fuckingly retarded way i play kk qq nowadays. FR has been fucking the way i play these hands pf lately. well after about 3k hands i break even finally, then went to 50nl to make some ez monies - won a bi, shouldve been 2 but again i play kk like an idiot. now after playing 6 max 8 tabling i win like 2bi ez in about a hundred hands total and win 2bi for the day. ill end this day with a 25nl session 24tabling to add to my winnings/fpps today. BR is close to 10k now, so i guess i cant really make 12k by this month . ill move up to 200nl def when i get to 12k by prolly the 10th of march. gtg and play some more. peace.

Do you have a clue why? I've deposited total of 1,7k$ (january) and cleared 2,3k$ from bonuses additionaly i've won 1k$ @ tournaments. Few days ago cashed out 1,3k$. Which means I've lost 3,7k$ so far. According to the graph I lost around 400$. WTF?. Anyway as you can see. Everything was ok until 18k. After that it's all one big downswing (or my bad play). I think I started tilting @ 40k.
I'm going to post all the hands where I lost more than 20BB. I hope you can help me to analyze my game.

Well I know the last time I posted I said I would be updating people as often as I could with my success on the circuit. Apparently, I haven't kept my word and I apologize. Since last summer ended with the WSOP, I've been to EPT London, EPT Baden, World Poker Finals @ Foxwoods, APPT-Macau (China), Bellagio Five Diamond (GJ Daut ), EPT-PCA, Borgata WPT Winter open, and LAPC. It's been a busy year, and as far as i'm concerned I don't think i'm quite prepared to lead a life on the circuit every single minute of every single day. Currently, i'm on a little R & R at home and taking two months off until the end of March where I will be attending the next WPT Event taking place @ Foxwoods, and right after that the Bellagio Five Star. I'm looking forward to it because i've been eating well for the past 1-2 weeks and working out on the new Nutri-system diet. Pretty much with Nutri-system they deliver you frozen TV-type dinners which you can eat for all three meals of the day and its all legitimately healthy with low-calorie intake. I customized my order so that they only sent me the good tasting stuff. Right now it's Lasange, Pizza, Ravioli and Beef Tacos. I've been working out on my exercise bike which i have stationed right in front of my mounted 46'' LCD, so I can watch movies while I bike (makes it really easy to get good workouts in per day). I've gotten into staking players again recently, and with my new agenda and schedule, I should be getting in good shape and preparation to enter the circuit with a much fresher mind and body.

If anyone here is interested in chatting tournament strategy on a consistent basis with me i'm down. I only ask this because as of lately I want to try and get more involved with the community here in order to improve, because from what I've seen, the people that post the most and work the hardest seem to have been the ones who continually improve and have accomplished a lot. That being said...

LETS GET IT ON! : - )

edit: Looking to chat with people who actually play the same fields that I do, both online and live. I'm not lookin to teach or give lessons, that will just take forever, because who wouldnt want free lessons? gl

having so much fun grinding hours to break even. what an accomplishment for starting out the new year. The first month I blew like 4k trying limit holdem and had to grind it back from nl 2/4. Then this month I went on two losing days at 2/4 where I dropped about 5k on each day where I spent even more days to get back. Overall I haven't been playing that many hands and still need more motivation to play = [

Also been playing free rolls and never ever winning those either.

Today has officially been my worst session to date, dropping $95, or 1/4 of my BR. A combo of not knowing what to do in certain spots plus massive suckouts is to blame. I had 2 sessions today, one in the early morning and one just now, I was down 4 BI early this morning and went down another 5 just now. This somewhat motivates me to get better, but at the same time, i'm pretty damn pissed. This is a huge party foul to an otherwise very good month. Here's a small preview:

Everything up to date, since early December

I'm blaming a lot of today on my game; It's obvious I still have a lot to learn. Poker's really really frustrating right now, it feels like I'm advancing at a snail's pace. 10NL is a bitch to crack right now, i've been playing 10NL for the better part of 3 months, I haven't been able to make steady progress there. I should move down to 5NL but by moving down a stake, I feel as if i'm going backwards instead of forwards. Oh well, I guess I have to put aside my stubbornness for now. Any advice is appreciated. (sigh).

Yes indeed february is turning out to be my best month in a long time. I have been sick and I have tons of shit to do in school so I dont have time to put in alot of hours but Im running good and Im playing really good. Im suprised how faggy alot of the hu players on ipoker are. They sit with big stacks on like 4 tables and instantly sits out once I sit down saying bullshit like "i dont play grinders" or "no thx". I mean game selecting is one thing, being a fucking wuss is another.

I hope I can keep this up cause I quite enjoy winning at poker.

I'm all settled in here and worked my first day today, was pretty fun actually but my feet fucking hurt.

My room is sick awesome, i'm staying in a room @ the hotel we are renovating and it's pretty much like an apartment consisting of a living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen.

I went to the bar last night, I drank six (I think lol) long island ice teas and a red snapper and got pretty shitty but not all that bad.

anyways, i feel so much better now and all the stress and shit in my life is gone and it's all smiles.

i love life again, this is exactly what I needed.

If any of you fucks live near milwaukee tell me btw

This is a blatant brag actually i honestly believe that in my highest craziest gear playing 32/26ish and really focusing i can maintain a 16bb/100 on 400nl but i always get somewhat "bored" and after a few hands i start goofing around on MSN and firefox.

Anyway to make this blog-post less disgusting for you i will include a super valuable advice.

cut down the # of tables and LEARN, poker is not a grind especially not in microlimits, dont approach this game as a grind approach this game as a student, learn and suck the juice out of every hand, think deep about the hand, always think before acting and improve and CRUSH the limit, dont focus on making the most money per minute, nor even in moving up stakes, focus on learning and u will succeed at poker

I had intresting session on 10nl because Artanis[Xp] was joining my tables to pwn me. Its fun because u know he knows how i play and i know how those high limit players play. They try to buldoze u ... well it dint happen. And i was thinking only way to win vs good players is to play little tricky and not same how i usually play.

I was talking to a friend of mine in school and I was trying to explain to him that school and the stress plus work at school has dramatically decreased my poker abilities. And thinking about my downswings and the timing I realized that there must be some connection. So when I came home I checked the exact times of my graphs with my school events and I’m surprised. Is this really only a coincidence?

Just to point out I did the EXACT days here. First graph is right after my finals were finished and the winter break has started.

2nd Graph is basically starts from Jan 7th which is the first day I went to school for 2nd semester until Feb 15th (Which is the last day I went to school before our UBC version of “spring” break which basically means that Im off for the next 10 days)

So I belive this is solid proof that basically I cant play optimally when Im at school. Specially my major requires soo much fuckin work thats just retareded. Quiz EVERY fuckin week. schedualed from 8am to 4pm EVERY day at school with only a 1hour break in between. This is really fucked up. I have no plans yet on how to balance things out this semester but Im tryin to think of methods. Anyhow. Dont fuckin goto school if you wanna win!

Running really bad, like really really really bad. Just had a -4.5k downswing, I'm really tilted and thinking into going to play all 5/10 but I'm taking a break first. My week end is auto screwed fuck poker... Can't believe how many sick suckout I just got pulled off on it's hardly believable. I was pretty focused that whats pisses me off the most, had a pretty good level of aggression and most of the time got it in good but suckout and more suckout.
