Ok the impossible happened last night. I won a tourney holllllaaaaaa. Anyway it was the Wednesday 150k guaranteed we chip chopped with 4 people left and i was the chip leader. The payouts b4 the chop were 39k, 28k, 21k, 15k something around there i took 30k for the chop. We played it out and i won. What a good feeling, probably better than sex id say. Anyway hopefully this win helps me get the cash games going good again.

Long time no talk...again. Let me just get this off my chest. Poker is not as much fun when you start running bad or you start losing money. When you aren't on an insane heater all month every month it turns into more of a grind and feels boring. With that said, my heater has slowed down a lot and almost at a stand still. Keeping that in mind I have done some revamping of my game which includes better table selection, playing heads up, and throwing in some MTTs every so often. This keeps me interested in poker and helps me stay focused on my longer term goal this year, which is to make 100k. We are about 3 1/2 months in and I am up to 20k so I need to step it the fuck up. I will be hitting SN sometime this month which I am looking forward to. Also, I have two vacations planned out this summer which should be a lot of fun. I am going to the Tampa region with a bunch of poker friends for a week of fun, and then in July I am going to Philly with the gf for a week of relaxation and historical sight seeing. Lately I have been seriously throwing around the idea of dropping out of college as I have lost all interest in it and the whole time I am there all I can think about is getting back to the grind! Other than that life has been good and poker is going semi decent this month. Looking forward to seeing you all at the tables!

Self Exclusion on FTP and Pstars ends this week so i'm pulling half my roll from UB and putting 250 into both Stars and FTP. Started on FTP today and managed to donk off $60 in 6.50 Turbo's (bubbled 4 won 1 Lost 5). Anyways slowly grinding NL10 at FTP back up to $500 ASAP so I can start playing NL25 again. Going to do the same with PStars when that exclusion ends on the 14th. The time away from the sites has made me hungry for the competition and I can't wait to get back on nice software again.

so.. i played 18 tables for part of the day, 9 tables later on..

i did tilt a bit in the middle of the day because i was going absolutely mad..

it should have been a better day.

i was kind of tired, and ate like a pig and probably shouldnt have played after that.

very last hand of the day is AA vs this really aggressive guy.. i misplayed it horribly and got really confused ..........
i am so upset right now

i guess i shouldnt play tired, huh. god fucking damn it.

i gotta be honest though...after i bashed my wall, i thought to myself that i'm getting nowhere at fr nl5...and so i 3 tabled 6max nl25 with about 80% of my BR on the tables and won 2.5 buy ins, which is why there's that line going straight up...

and it's mostly because of this

i don't have many losing hands. i only got staked once but i'm up 7 BIs running 37.3 BB/100 over 1051 hands, which is pretty good i guess. hopefully i can continue this good run because nl10 6max is easy

OK, so im a noob, just started learning / reading the game. I deposited a 100$. Started an nl 10, 4 tabled, grinded my way up to about 150, then i moved to nl25 one morning (didnt have much time to grind, so i said fuck it, ima move up limits and try and win as much as i can within this 45 min i got). After that session i was at about 180. Came home, and stuck with playing nl 25, at the end of the session was at about 210. Then as some of u saw me post, came this.

After that, i moved back nl 25, some nl 10, after few sessions, im at 215 right now.

ran kinda bad at one point and had a guy snap off my 150bb bluff with bottom pair on a gnarly board. "Don't bluff blah blah" I just can't help it if i know they are weak and feel the bluff is +ev.

bout to grind some more so i can move up to 25nl againnnnn

Posted here for my own embarrassment. I am so completely and utterly disgusted with myself. I thought I was done with this and better than this.

I am just going to have to rebuild. I am still 'rolled' for 200NL but I would be crushed by another day like this, so I am just going to play 100NL with 50+ buyins until Next month at least.

Absolutely ridiculous. I know I'm not the only one to have a day like this, but ughh.. The only thing I can be proud of is that I didn't go to higher limits, which is what has blown my roll twice before (although to be fair they were much smaller rolls).

i recently began playing NL100 6m because i want to get better @ different games, and chose a level im over rolled for. i have played a small sample of 10k hands, and i have misplayed a ton of hands, and i was hoping some of LP could review some of my hands and gimme any advice that you have. thanks guys

Doing great and, more importantly, playing good, solid nitty poker so far this month. 60k hands in April still reachable - I'm a bit above 2k/day right now.
Was hoping for 2PTBB/100 so I'd make $2.4k this month. Things are turning out differently and my roll boosts up every day. Still a lot to go before NL200 tho - I'm a bankroll nit and I enjoy being one, so don't force me to move up . Hopefully I'll reach the required amount before the end of May.

Besides poker not much going on. Still haven't started going to the gym, but I promise I will in the near future (a week or so). Billiards - same old boring stuff. Guess I got into a rut with my life at the moment. I feel like going to the LP meet up would be a sick n' awesome thing, but I don't want to spend that much money while I still grind low stakes.

I've been losing pretty steadily for about a fortnight (with one winning day) and have only still got a bankroll because of the dedication and patience of Artanis and Silver. That and moving down over and over. Furthermore I think my continual requests for help have worn out my goodwill with Midian. However today I was able to post a winning day. I think my play is improving with the regular poker I'm playing and I definitely ran better than normal (I even hit some sets). I've been building bluffs into my game and it's been earning me a dollar here and there and I've been making some good calls. I'm slowly learning to build stats into my game and I think I'm getting the hang of actually using them rather than just being aware of them.
I think I've also improved my play by working on focus, avoiding music, browsing or msn. Also staying well hydrated is a must for long periods of concentration and I'm finding it well worth the constant trips to the toilet.

Anyway, my results for the day at 25nl.
