In my quest to become a great limit player. Began the game about 1 1/2 weeks ago being taught by a 5/10 10/20 reg and I have had some significant results.

My no limit feat was going very well.... I grinded my loaned $100 up to $570 within a week on NL 5, NL 10, and NL 25. Paid back the $100 + $20 to the loaner which is a highstakes limit player. And I decided.... why not try some limit. He taught me so much in a day and I really like the game. So I am now officially a limit player








Lmfao @ the swungz.... It's fun as hell and keeps you on your toes. Four tables and your constantly busy.

Still going good. However, variance is beginning to set in.

90% NL5 and NL10 with a little NL25 with extreme table selecting.

Grinding many many hours 8 tabling now on NL 10 after my first day where I made 14 buy ins on NL 5. But it is starting to get boring and now that my roll is finally growing I am starting to get temptations to play NL 25. NOOOO!!! (See last blog for info)

Anyways I hope it keeps up....

So I have been out of the poker scene for about 3 months now. Due to a lot of hassles in real life I was forced to quit. Not that big of a deal anyways since I wasn't doing too well the last couple of months of my career.


So I moved and ran out of moneys and had a hard time finding a job in the new city so I knew it would be a long time before I could get playing again. I got the msn of a 5/10 10/20 limit player about a week ago and he decided to graciously help me. However, he said he would only stake me into bigger games (NL 100, NL 200) if I could pass the professional gambler test lol. I have to play .02/.05 with a hundred dollar bankroll he lent me until I reach $250 and then I must NL 10 that shit until $750 and then I have to NL 25 THAT shit until $1500-$2000. This is hard as fuck to fathom because I have terrible discipline and bankroll issues. But I pray to God I can handle this. So far.....







The first day we set up team viewer and he obs me 4-8 table .02/.05 for a few hours. The first day I made $70 so I gave him back his $100 plus an extra $20 leaving me with $50 that I could grind with on my own. After day 2 roll sits at $90. Either I am running really good or these guys have no clue how to player poker in the least. I can't count how many times I have rivered the second nuts and they will flat my 2 bet with the nuts lol.

I have always planned on going to college for Civil Engineering even though I know that is not the career for me. I think drafting/architecture would be best but I wanted to aim high. But in my recent struggle for happiness I am wondering what it would be like to become a professional dealer. I would be surrounded by the game I love all the time and the experience would improve my live game. Has anyone looked into this at all and does anyone know the cons and pros? Also I live in Texas so I would have to move to another state to pursue this profession.
