Well its been a while since i blogged so i figured id write something up. In the last week or 2 ive stepped back into cash game, but with coaching this time. Big thanks to cariadon and the other guys in the mirc channel, i dont know if any of them read LP but they know who they are. They have helped me with my game alot, i was playing such shit poker it was amazing.. i got accepted into dtan05s coaching thing but ive decided i dont wanna do it, my only goal in poker was to reach like nl100 or nl200 and i think with the help ive been getting and with just networking with my friends and talking about hands i can do that on my own.. getting staked has never worked out great for me or anyone else in the past. Im gonna keep playing on stars till the end of feb then ill b losing my supernova and be moving to FTP and god help me..

Anyway onto other stuff.. i got a pool table, its a regulation size pool table, i threw it into one of my empty bedrooms cuz it wasnt being used.. its a little tight, i would have liked to have more space, but it works just fine.. Sorry my pics r such shit but i took 2 for ya.



My goals right now r very BR dependent and im really unsure of the future, id like to go to vegas this summer and then try and find a career path after that. Id really like to get a job working within the poker community but i know those are few and far between. Right now my plans are to head down to san diego in late april for a friends wedding, jump from there to vegas to chill with rainkhan and then try and find an apartment to stay at from then till end of wsop. I would really like to be able to grind live cashgames all wsop this year, so hopefully i can be at nl100 and have a online and live roll.

Lastly id like to be doing some more sweat sessions, id like to get me and 2 other people together that dont compete against eachother and do possibly 3 way sweat sessions once a week or so, using screen sharing programs and just all watching someone play and talking over it.. another thing if anyone out there reading my blog is an instructor for a website like CR or DC or anything and needs some fish to play while they critique, i would be totally down.

oh shit one last thing.. im playing the mill this weekend and i wanna sell action, its the one with 4mill guar so its a good deal for anyone with a huge br to take a gambol. If anyones wondering about my profitability i had a 24% roi in MTT SNGS last month i played them.. Id like to have 10% of my self in the end, so if anyone would like to buy a chunk plz let me know.

Got tired of my old comp, went to go get more ram but that was gonna cost like 60$ or something. So i decided to just buy all new stuff, i got a 500gb HDD, using my old Geforce 9800 graphics card, picked up 4GB of DDR800 ram, and a AMD 2.8ghz true quad core thingey... its like a Phenom 2.. i dont stay up to date with this stuff like i used to, but im guessing ill be happy with it all.. i got windows 7 ultimate 64bit so that should be cool..

the guy at the store told me it may be hard to get all 4 cores working, so if anyones dealt with hooking this up plz give me tips, also i duno anything about 64bit junk, im guessing most software doesnt take advantage of 64bit technology unless it was made for it... so yea like HEM and pstars prolly wont use this stuff?? also im new to windows 7, id like to get hooked up with the cool shit for it, like CPU temp meters if possible at least for the first few days so i can make sure im not cooking my comp.. and maybe some decent weather gadgets or w/e..

so if any of you guys have anything cool that i should snag for my new comp please let me know. Im gonna cut down from 4 monitors to 3 most likely and just run 3 24in monitors in a L shape.

other than that i had a pretty good weekend in eugene, played a 1-1 live game and broke even, and then just drank a bunch and watched the oregon ducks pwn the civil war game. Gonna get back onto the online grind hard and start saving up some money for an apartment in las vegas in the next 4-5 months.

Well i had a pretty crazy monday night, ill try and shorten it as much as i can.. Its kinda funny cuz i wanna forget about it asap but i also wanna blog about it so i can look back a few months from now and laugh..

Day started off going to a bar with some guys from LP. Rush, rushes room mate Sam (not yomer sam) and some friends. I had been staying at rush's place during the weekend and was planning on heading home after the bar..

We got some food and i was playing some pool vs sam, i wanted to get some bets going on some pool games but james and sam wanted like 3:1 for a game of 9 ball and i dont have that big of an edge so Sam and I arranged a bet, i had to do 5 shots before we started playing, then we would play 5 games of 9 ball or 8 ball for 20$ a game. I did my shots, lost the first game, won the other 4, we headed back, i was up on the day after the food and paying for my shots, about 40$.

Went back to the apartment, had some beers, decided to go to full house poker, its a poker room in eguene, the spread 1/3 nl.. So me, sam, and yomer hit that up, they started a new table for us, it was just us 3 and some douchey kid i really hated.. i was blacked out at this point, i bought in for 300, almost insta busted that.. i guess i really mis judged my stack and shoved KJ into the straddle for like 30-40bbs.
Anyway i got table change and rebought for like $150 which was almost every cent of cash i had on me and in my bank account.. at that point i had like 24$ in my bank
left.. ran that into like $250 then got my QQ vs AK aipf and ended up losing.. the guys wernt ready to leave and i felt like shit cuz i had been drinking all day and just didnt wanna stick around and think about how much i just lost..

so i started walking home and walked past a bar, i actually went right by it, turned around and was like "ehh fuckit, 1 beer to cool down".. i beer turned into 2, then some cougar came up and started hitting on me a bit and wanted to play some pool.. so 1 beer turned into 5 and me and this cougar were getting along great.. i REALLY thought i was like 95% chance to get laid.. So we played pool and stuff till the bar was closing, we rolled out to her car where she had some crazy death punch, i think it was like 50% vodka, some orange juice and and mt dew... so we drank a 1 liter of that and were making out a bunch in the car.. and after that shit gets a little fuzzy, but at some point she starts driving from the bar, i have no idea why, or where.. but we end up parking again, making out again, and shortly after that i realize im not getting laid, and im sitting in a car at 3:45 in the morning with some lady old enough to be my mom.. so were talking and making out and she starts talking about her shitty boyfriend and how bad her life is and all this stuff and how hes a dick.. so im just like w/e im getting out of here.

And this is where i REALLY fucked my self.. basically im shitty drunk, didnt even think about the fact she had driven somewhere, and i kinda just hopped outta the car.. she drove off, i got on my phone and took a look at my GPS, and i was fucking like 6 or 7 MILES away from where james lives.. i have NO fucking idea how i didnt realize we must have drove for like 10 or 15 mins, i think she might have been driving and bitching at the same time.. so anyway im fucking mind boggeled.. and then i realize, i have basically no money after the bar, so i cant pay for a cab, so i gotta get a ride.. i called everyone i knew in the town, but it was like 4:00am on a monday.. no one was picking up, i walked for over an hour, at around 5:00 ish my phone died, and i was left without a map, without any idea where i was, and with NO way of contacting anyone.
I walked in fucking circles for the next hour, or two, it was raining and about 30 mph winds all night..i started to get really pissed when i had seen 2 diff grocery stores for the 2nd time... i eventually found a street i knew only went one way, and if i followed it i would eventually hit a cross street my friend lived on... i did that, found his house, which is still 2 miles away.. but at least i wasnt lost anymore.. went from tehre to another friends house ( one i know a little better then that first one) then started banging on all the doors, i couldnt call her cuz my phone was dead.. she didnt wake up, i coulda just walked in but i didnt really wanna, the next day when i told her what happened she told me i shoulda anyways.. But moving on.. so she lived about 12 blocks from james place.. i ended up fucking that up and turning it into another 1 hour circle fuck fest of walking.. by the time i got back it was very light outside, i was soaked from head to toe in rain, i had killed my shoes and my foot was bleeding from all the walking lol.

Ne ways i made it back, and im alive.. so time to rebuild from my live losses and move on.. I also got HON this weekend, learned a little about it, im still pretty much always the worst player in every game, so i woudlnt advise trying to play with me lol..

Just for fun, this is as close as i can remember, the walk i took.. with the start in the south and end in the north.
