First +1k day

So I made more then 1k USD today. Pwns.
Short morning session
DustySwedeDude, Apr 04 2007
There wasn't any good NL100 games going and one of the worst fishes on the server was sitting at a few NL200 tables so I joined those for like half an hour and ran really good. Got overpairs and shit allin pf a few times and they held up so I made a bit over 300 USD. Really nice. I'm up a bit of 600 USD for the month which is nice since I was down a lot just 2 days ago. I'm still down like 300 USD in the NL200 game but that's ok since I'm pwnin' it up at NL100 with 29/23/2.5 donkey stats.
I read something by Ket when he wrote something about inducing misstakes rather then not making misstakes and this donkeystyle is really good for that. People play back at me with all kinds of shit, some dude openpushed AQo vs a big raise I did vs multiple limpers from the SB and I stacked him with AA. The theory is basicly that if you raise a lot of shit pf and contbet a lot people will figure out that you basicly bluff a lot, and if you make some overbet bluffs with air vs obvious weakness and then shows then a lot of retards will stack off with any kind of hand vs turn shoves and such which is really, really good for profit. I think the best thing about this is that there are very few LAGs at unibet which makes the regulars uneasy when people raise a lot from late pos. As you can see from my stats I’m not even aggressive, but people still pays me of and I basicly just contbet in pots where I’m kind sure that noone hit and I don’t 2nd barrel unless scarecards comes off. Funny shit.
We’re blessed

I’m a whiney bitch. I know it, you guys who read this blog know it and some of my real life friends know it. I just lost a 800 USD playing poker, mostly at NL200 when I tried to move up. I got annoyed, a bit angry and very upset when people started hitting their moneycards vs me and overall I acted very imature and punished some dead things, like a lamp and a wall. It hurt. Anyway, after some consideration I’ve come to the conclusion that we’re all very blessed. I made more then 6k last month. Since I don’t pay any taxes on that I made more then my parents did togheter, and they’re both working full time while I’m studying law full time. Ok, so I hit a bad streak of cards and I lost some of the money I’ve won? Is life unfair? Certainly not! Many of us here are blessed with an ability to make really good money, sometimes crazy money, playing a cardgame on the internet. I hate people who uses the phrase “Think of the children in Africa” or something like that when other people complain, but now I’m starting to feel that it might be somewhat called for. Most people I know are working hard to get some money and such, while I can sit around like a fucktard and make much more money much easier. I’m not an altruist, but sometimes when I get upset I really feel that I should just shut up and be happy for what I’ve got.
Back to NL100 I guess
DustySwedeDude, Apr 02 2007
So my adventure on NL200 didn't turn out so good. I don't think I played that bad, even if I did some questionable things and made a few bad calls, but I just couldn't stack anyone for my life. Also, I got a few bad beats today and such. It's not that bad, it's like 6 BI down and I was up about 3 before that so totaly I'm only down like 600 USD or something, but it's still annoying.
I'll just go down to NL100 and rebuild. Maybe win like 12 buyins so that I'm at 7k before next try and hopefully it'll help my self esteem a lot too.
Good damn it.

First of all: How can I misspell "God"?!
Ok, so I played some NL200 today. I was up about 700 but ended up just about 150. For some reason I can't seem to get a whole day work out as it should pokerwise. First I play good for 4 hours, then everything just goes to shit during like 30 minutes. First a flush (9-high on a AsKsXs board) vs a higher flush for about 150bb, then I did some stupid shit and could fold an overpair and I didn't hit shit for the rest of the session and BANG most of the profit is gone. Even though I think it's kinda lame to complain when I've done 150 USD for like 5 hours work but whatever, I feel like it and I can't do do this to my irl-friends so I post it here instead. Also, I need to stop pay-off-tilting whenever I get bad beaten.
Anyway, NL200 doesn't seem that hard and most people does stupid shit at about the same rate as the NL100 dudes so I think I'll beat this kinda soon. I saw fullstacks limp with JJ, QQ and AJ:/
We live in a very strange world now. I know that the money I'm make out of this is nothing compared to what so of you guys make but it's still fucking crazy.
Over and out.
March and April
DustySwedeDude, Mar 31 2007
March is over, I’m finally not a teenager anymore and the last month was probably the best one I’ve ever had. Almost everything worked out as it should and I ran at 9bb/100 hands during about 34k hands on a new limit. Ship it! Anyway, my goals for march was:
20k hands (I played 34k)
5bb/100 hands (I had about 9bb/100 hands)
2k profit (made almost 6.4k)
and I kind outdid myself a lot here. Ok, so here’s some goals for april:
30k hands (I’ll have some spare time in the beginning, but then I’ll have to study my ass off)
5k profits (25 bi)
Move up to NL200
Here’s my grapf for march:

Beat, brag and variance.

NL200 in april?
DustySwedeDude, Mar 29 2007
My BR just hit 6k again after my last cash out and I feel ready to play some NL200. So far in march I’m up about 5.9k or 59 buyins over 32k hands, which is a bit more then 9bb/100 hands. Not bad for someone who moved up from NL50 late february. Anyway, I’ve been playing kinda TAG with 23/18/3 stats most of the month but during the last two days I’ve opened up a lot and now I’m something like 32/25/4 and I’ve been running kinda good. I’ll just keep playing NL100 for the rest of the month and try to hit 6k total since it’s a cool number and then I’ll try to move up april 1st. I’m a little concerned that 30-35k hands might be a bit to small of a sample to conclude how big of a winner I am at NL100 but I guess it’s decent enough and that I should at least try to move up anyway. It’d be so cool to get to something like NL400 by the end of the summer since I started out with 50 USD late last summer.
I really feel that living somewhat close to sakisaki makes me run much better.

Just another update
DustySwedeDude, Mar 24 2007
Hi.
I’m up more then 5k at NL100 this month and I’m closing in on 30k hands. I’m still making some stupid moves once in a while, but overall I think I play kinda solid with exception for some situations that I fuck up. Basicly I’m playing somewhat decent and I’m running decent and when you team those two things up with a really low skill level among the regulars on my site it’s a winning combination.
Anyway, I made 2 movies of me playing today too but they kinda sucked and nothing really intressting happened so I'll just try again and post a better one someday.
