so today i played a decent amount of hands.

ran HORRIBLY bad, i have no fking clue why my sets got rivered => straight, all in KK vs QQ doesn't work, QQ vs AK doesn't work, fking everything didnt work and i lost 4 BIs. If i had a all in EV shit, i would be up a lot more...

BUT! i did work on my game to be more aggressive, i'm getting a lot of value these days and getting my money in good... and bluffing at the right spots. So, i'm currently at 2.4k in my BR and i'm pretty close to nl100. i think i'm going to take some shots by next week. wish me luck!

So i haven't posted a blog message in a while, but basically i've been putting in around 5k-10k hands a day at nl50 running at around 2-3 ptbb/100. It's been sluggish and I seem to be getting better as time goes on, but I'm still worried about the transition to nl100 (which i'll prob. be going to later this week or next week).

anyways, heres a graph for the whole month so far, as you can see i'm having a bit of trouble with the red line, and I can't seem to make it flatten out. Its so strange...

another weak day ~5k hands. i didn't have much motivation to play today, my aim was to get to 2.3k today, but ended up a bit short at 2.2k but overall i'm still wanting to improve my game. I've been watching a lot of vids from stox poker and its interesting, but i'm not gaining much from them anymore, other than bluff raises.

still, i hope to get better at poker and here is another graph

the red line is still a bother for me. its flat sometimes, but it never goes up...

So now my BR is up to 2100 and i have been running at around 3ptbb/100 for the last 20k hands on nl50. I think this is mainly due to luck, as i feel like my skill is definitely not good enough. I'll prob. be grinding nl50 for until at least the end of this month regardless of how much I make.



the red line is becoming a problem again. Why though is another question for me, I feel like i'm calling down hands and folding in good spots, but its still going downwards which is an issue. Anyways, if anyone could help me with the red line or sweat me some that'd be nice. Again, wish everyone luck at the tables.

well, this time i tilted off 2 BI at the end of my session. Not too bad considering my other tilts, I ended up stopping myself as i wasn't playing optimally anymore and i ended up at 1800. I'm still up 4 BI for the day so that's not too bad, but i'm down 4 BI from my peak, which makes me sad. Today overall was a good day because i figured that I can beat nl50. Its not easy, but i know with enough of a grind and watching some more videos i can make it work.

so i realized that my red line was the thing that was killing me. using the poker theory that i know (none basically) i tightened up and really learned how to play in position and out of position. the result was really good for me as i've been running well in the last few hands, but also i really feel like i understand the game better. or at least positionally. Hopefully this trend can keep going, and here is a few graphs to visualize the change. notice the red line!

alright! i just hit 1500 after 18k hands so far and then short stacking PLO (lol)

i'm going to keep grinding nl25 and play more aggressively and then move to nl50 when i hit 1750-2000 ish. i might take a shot at 50 right onw, but i feel not good enog yet.
