Poker has been rough, and I hadn't really taken great care of myself or had a good day-to-day life this month. I had enough on Monday, and I am going to set myself on the path of life-heater. So I'm going to get that gym membership I have been putting off renewing, and keeping myself to a more disciplined day-to-day life. The biggest thing, imo, is that today I got myself a poker coach who I am really excited to work with on the regular basis. He's a very strong midstakes guy who has been playing for years, and our way of thinking about poker clicks well.

I think the last thing is the most important. Being an aggressive player and having an aggressive game plan is what makes me feel good about poker, it stirs my old passion and excitement for the game back up again. That feeling that you own the game and you are calling the shots each hand. Its the most important ingredient for poker I've been missing this year.

I need to make $1000 in the next 8 days in poker somehow.

Sigh. Why did I take shots at nl100 when in 2 weeks I had a deadline for a certain earnings..

I think I beat nl50.. just vulnerable to tilt when I rape my own bankroll.. running sick bad the past 10k hands but I wouldn't of lost as much if I hadn't been looking at such a small bankroll.. idk.. fml forever, success at anything forever eludes me




All hands since May13th, the drop starts July 31st I believe.

why can't I win at heads up, seriously I just can't figure it out, nothing ever ever goes as I anticipate it to when I am playing headsup. I feel completely impotent against any type of player

I've been experimenting with not checking my cashier and HEM since the end of last month. Its been.. really good. I haven't felt really stressed out at any point this month. So far I've tried setting a date upon when I can next check my cashier, which was OK as far as I only had a couple times with a strong desire to check. Since the 15th I decided to try checking every 10k hands and see how that feels

I think I'll keep avoiding results.. Not sure if I'll settle on one way in which I like doing it, or if I will just mix it up to keep it interesting.

Anyway this is one of the times I can check! Unfortunately my red line has started going down again, it seems.. Not sure.. I will pay attention to it though.. :/ Red line dropping too fast at nl100 but I only have 5k hands there so meh (down 2bi). My redline is pretty stable over my 20k hands at nl50 tho, down $250 over that period. Meh I'll just keep trying to play well.

My volume has been shitty but eh.


Well I suppose I am doing as well as could be expected, and I'm pretty happy that I am winning for a little while now :>

I didn't play very well today and I feel really shitty about it. Felt confused a lot in spots I thought I had an overall grasp on. Meh, I'm sure I do still, I just wasn't making good decisions today. Played like 1hr and dumped $350 which is a ton for me(played some nl100, badly I might add). Should really only play nl50 until next month.

Meh just a vent. Gonna have to pull this shit together :O

My gmama has a cat, and the cat has fleas. So I have a flea infestation that has become pretty bitchin in my carpeted bedroom. I finally had enough of it today after 15 minutes into my session I was so distracted by itching and being bitten that I went on rage tilt and closed everything.

I declared a jihad on fleas.

My weapon is biological; Boric Acid. Boric acid is a powerful destroyer of insect life, killing fleas, roaches, and other bugs in the first 24 hours of exposure. I've dusted my carpets and the kitchen.

Problem is, even though I rarely see a roach in the house, I know that whenever pesticides are used they tend to bring the roaches out to the forefront.. where they die all over the place. Within the first two hours of dusting I've already come home to find a big dead roach in my bedroom (where I have never seen a roach before). I'm really not looking forward to cleaning up the roach Hiroshima tomorrow..
