I've been experimenting with not checking my cashier and HEM since the end of last month. Its been.. really good. I haven't felt really stressed out at any point this month. So far I've tried setting a date upon when I can next check my cashier, which was OK as far as I only had a couple times with a strong desire to check. Since the 15th I decided to try checking every 10k hands and see how that feels
I think I'll keep avoiding results.. Not sure if I'll settle on one way in which I like doing it, or if I will just mix it up to keep it interesting.
Anyway this is one of the times I can check! Unfortunately my red line has started going down again, it seems.. Not sure.. I will pay attention to it though.. :/ Red line dropping too fast at nl100 but I only have 5k hands there so meh (down 2bi). My redline is pretty stable over my 20k hands at nl50 tho, down $250 over that period. Meh I'll just keep trying to play well.
My volume has been shitty but eh.
Well I suppose I am doing as well as could be expected, and I'm pretty happy that I am winning for a little while now :>

if you're 6max then (coming from a nub) you should expect your red line to be a WINNER. if your red line was even for the last 26k then (MAYBE) you'd be up 1k instead of 500, which would give you a decent salary to live on independently. in the UK 1k/month is minimum wage full-time salary.
tbh i recommend you post this in the poker forum and try to get some proper attention regarding your red line |

stop worrying about your red line... it all depends on style and in the end winrate is all that matters... you can have a losing redline and still crush
just worry about playing as well as possible |

Absolutely true. Though the fact that a winner's redline is irrelevant is easy to confuse with the fact that almost all breakeven/losing regs have a negative redline.

fuck the redline. if u get a rungood redline almost always is in the positive since opps usually have nothing, u have hands and pound streets
just keep playing well and avoid putting more money in spots wherein theres a giood chance ull just fold to raises. |
