Unfortunately I can't find the link to the article but there was a calculation of how much more he really earns by signing with Orlando instead of other destinations...turns out its about ~7,5 Mil. The Misbelief of the 30mil is because he can only sign for a 5th year with the magic.

7,5 mil is alot right? Well lets see:
-) after these 4 years when he can sign his new contract he is not only younger but also entitled to sign a contract with higher pay raises.
-) playing for a big market like Chicago or LA makes you much more interesting for a sponsor company like adidas (rose just signed his 185mil contract a week ago)

In reality his best (business) decision is to sign with a big market where he can earn very close to the same amount like in Orlando in his nba career and ALOT more with sponsor companies.

ppl talk about trading dwight and getting at least something in return with bynum/gasol being the front runners.

i dont' want to be another half ass team for the next decade. it's time to tank and rebuild from scratch. the sooner we accept this reality the sooner we can move forward and make things work for us.

also as a side note the nba is too diluted with talent. they need to cut the teams in half. im fucking sick and tired of this bull shit product. there's only 4 reasonable teams a year that can win, any everyone else is just fodder. it's not like football where any team can win.

nba isnt about the sport its about the betting, wouldnt be caught dead watching anything on tv w/out money on it. soooo boring with the fouls and timeouts/commercials/constant missing open jumpshots-yet paid 4+mil a yr.
