If and when GSP vs. Anderson happens, it will be a long time before the actual fight takes place.
Lets say GSP beats Condit at UFC 154, on November 17th as planned. If GSP wins and is not injured (which will be unlikely, unless he stops Condit in the first round), he will take the rest of 2012 off to relax after his win, which is common. Then, once the New Year rolls around, the UFC will hint that they have MAJOR NEWS coming up later that week and say GSP vs. Anderson will happen and it will be the biggest fight in MMA history EVER, and then the soonest they will fight will be in March 2013, I'd guess April 2013.
If GSP gets injured in any minor way, like a bump on the knee or a sprained hand, etc. Expect there to be at least 1 extra month added onto the time before GSP vs. Anderson is announced. If there is a bigger injury, who knows how long that will take. Lets just hope GSP doesn't somehow re-injure his knee in the Condit fight, or the Anderson fight will probably never happen unless Anderson is going to fight until he's 40 years old.
In the end, it all depends on how healthy GSP is after he beats Condit on November 17th.

i question if GSP can even beat condit... i mean lets face it he almost or coulda lost to jake shields and that was over a year ago

he beat jake shields decisively... with only one eye. and jake is no slouch, he decisioned hendo in a 5 rd fight. and GSP has perfect style to dominate condit. I don't think this fight will even be competitive, GSP 50-45 Condit.

GSP vs. Condit is going to be a hard fight to predict the outcome.
GSP is coming off a long layoff with a serious knee injury. He has a lot to prove, and will probably look to finish Condit.
Up until the fight against Nick Diaz, Carlos Condit has proven to be a good fighter, and if he shows up against GSP like he did vs. all his other competition aside from Diaz, it will make for a good show.
Either way, I'm taking GSP to win because he's a smart + proven champion and Condit showed his weakness vs. Rory MacDonald, even though that fight isn't recent.

I hope for his sake that their asking for a cigarette was the thugs' method of
