$500 deep, rush poker, no reads.
button opens to $3, we reraise to $11 with 86o, button flats.
flop is 8c 6c Jx, we lead for $20, button flats.
turn is 2c, we lead for $50, button reraises to $200.
???
ps, this didn't happen |

seems like a pretty standard fold without reads, though I hear incredible things about the rush tables. |

| Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated. | |

I would have a tough time folding here without the proper info. I'd just jam it in and expect to get called by worse pretty often or suck out against the flush. |

Should be a super easy fold.
Being 500bbs deep I honestly think a more interesting question would be a 6d lol. |

If villain is willingly putting in that much money, you are rarely getting outplayed but beat.
Because you are both so deep he has to raise his made flush on turn even if it looks super strong to build the pot.
Swear like a pirate then fold..
Might be more interesting if you had a set and flush lands on turn.
Same betting pattern, and you call the raise because there's a fullhouse possible and it may be too exploitable if you fold a set here. River is a blank, you check and villain shoves.
Hmm.. |

i think the 3b pf is absolutely terrible because button should call with any 2 anyway and since it's rush you aren't even doing it for image.
i observed a hand where this situation semi happened and i didn't know how i would play it on the turn. |

So are we concluding with 3betting from blinds is no good unless we want value in Rush Poker? So when button raises to steal, we should call it instead of 3betting as a blind defense? |

inflated pots oop with AA where one pair hands are terrible.
tbh i would never sit 500bbs deep without like 75+ buyins |

So you'd call with any hand from blind as a defense instead of 3bet.
This seems.. really bad because you neither have control nor position.
I mean, flatting AA seem really bad.
The metagame of blinds in rush poker is indeed crazy and people can shove with much more marginal hands from blinds.
Besides, I feel that most of value for AA comes preflop rather than postflop.
It really is a postflop hand than preflop hand. You should get as much money as possible with AA here imo.
I think this topic is really about defending big blind profitably without hand getting out of hand.
And it does get troublesome when you 3bet the button raise, and they flat both preflop and flop.
You are then out of position, usually don't have anything and the pot's already massive.
I do get in these situation from time to time and it is not pleasant.

if u flat how can u win a massive pot and if it is your standard you will have no 3betting range which isn't optimal |

i dont play any rush poker but the reason i dont like 3betting here is bcuz youre super deep and thus more likely to get flatted by the raiser and you have a garbage hand that cant flop anything.
and even when you hit one of the best flops 86o can hit, like in this hand youre in a gay spot.
doesnt mean you shouldnt 3bet bluff..just with hands that are better than 86o. |

you should try 3bet bluffing with shit hands that have outs against a calling range. Like k2 suited for example. Chance to flop a flush draw and one over against their PP calling range. |

Vs ppl who's good I'd probably never 3bet oop 500bb deep. Vs badish people I'd 3bet a ton of stuff for value since they'll probably call 100% (good) and play it like shit (baaad). Don't think I'd 3bet as a bluff a lot though, maybe like 87s-stuff and Axs. |

Dont 3bet this in the first place, this has all the ingredients of a bad 3b, which are oop, no reads, horrid hand and add that to the fact nobody is folding anything 500 deep in position so you are gonna be in a shit spot no matter what. |
