exalted   United States. Feb 05 2010 08:39. Posts 2918

it really depends on how you feel the cards will fall, like do you feel a queen is coming? preferably both a queen and an ace, so you suck out on king-king

would you rather a 100% loss of 0.15 or a 50% chance of winning 57 dollars? choice is up to u

pretty much this
lets say u fold in this spot 10000 times, therefore u lose $1500(0.15x10000) in the long run
if you call you have 50% chance to win $57, if you call it 10000 times u will brakeven in the end, and if you run good u might even win moneys!!!
CALL DUDE
by folding here you are basically giving $1500 up... u wouldnt do that would u?

of course we would never let a spot like this go to the long run with us folding that many times. if he starts doing this a couple times we can adjust easily.

lol...............................

well to be honest every time i've looked someone up here who's open shoving or shoving over any preflop bet, unless they're obviously a fish (sitting half stacked and bleeding), they've always had KK or AA here. I think only once someone had AK but even then you're behind...

fold.

Thanks for all the input. well i thought newbs dont spastically push with premium AA,KK as they tend to get all fancy and shit with these holdings here so I was suspicious of the ghettopush. it was only 25 to win a pot of 50 and i think i felt like i was better than 50% to win. I have him beat most of the time here worst case scenario im flipping he could easily have A-rag, lowe pp etc. Btw amazing read Fira.

Assuming this is a standard 6 deck shoe

you have 23 queens, 23 aces and like, 78 flush outs

snap call

qwerty67890   New Zealand. Feb 05 2010 22:26. Posts 14026

VERRRRRRRY bad call. Even vs. TT AQs is losing $2.20 every time you call. At NL5 this is about half a buyin. So you made a half buyin mistake at best. At worse youre up against QQ KK AA AK.

Now I really am a busto. Thanks FTP.

With the .15 dead money in the pot and a 50/50 chance of winning the pot, I think it's a pretty easy call.
