Just had an epic downswing at NL25 6max, no hands held, top two vs tptk, 3bet pots with tptk vs mid sets for 2bi's etc, ended up losing 11bi and quitting around my 10 bi stop loss. (lost 2 bi at the very end...was down 9bi and 2 hit me real fast while i was closing tables)

This was a really bad session, I feel 100% that I was playing my A+ game, but the cards just wouldn't comply.

Meh, shoulda just took the rest of the day off

::EDIT:: played another 2 hour session and lost 10 more buy-ins to sick sick fucking coolers, to every light 3better picking up monsters vs me everytime they 3bet me on the button....FUCK i couldn't win in any way shape or form.

Search my name and look at the hands posted, yes i did make 1-2 mistakes here and there, but t

(shows it wasn't any bluffs that was causing me to lose, was just getting run over by the deck in so many unfoldable situations =[)

FML T_T

upside is I never tilted and played my absolute best throughout the whole session, although I did try a hero at the end with mptk vs a set and instaquit after that

BR 1078.68 - update - BR 803.63 (these downswings are fucking raping me, i took an hour off, came back and couldnt win a pot STILL)

session 3 - won 4bi, 895.35

Overall 20 bi downswing, im taking a break for a while, this game started to frustrate me at the end.

GL LP,
Ryan

naw baal, i've tried 5 in the past, but i can't really stop at 5 tbh, and when i break the rule of 5, then i continue onward and onward

10 is a stop loss that i can actually follow -.-

I told you that this would happen. If this can happen @ NL25 with many donks, imagine @ NL100, NL200 and so on.

if you did then you'd be factoring it into your goals and estimations of where you will be in x amount of time. You keep saying shit like 25 buyins a week on NL100 and that's ridiculous. Having a 25 bi week isn't crazy, but to do it every single week is something I don't believe you could. It would take an amazing player or a serious mass grinder to do that, and you're neither.

You've never PLAYED real poker and have no sense of what a natural progression is, especially factoring your nitty BR rules. You're used to moving up limits fast but that time is over. Accept it.

i have accepted it, i have no problems with poker these days

i had some swings today, its my style, if you've seen me play you would understand

doomer and nolan knew that 2 yrs ago the day i started playin cash, i swing alot which is why i need atleast 40-60bi for each limit
