My thought is that by the time i reach even a4 normal HC, ppl will have nm/hell completed. There should be 1 million youtube videos and strategy datas available around, so hopefully it's not as blind as it could be.

Yeah me2. I'm preety sure I will however, just gonna play super conservative untill I get a good feel for it (Like the beta for example, you memorize everything after 3 or so runs)

I'm planning on playing a ton of d3 during this summer, so I will be online a lot. There is a lot of opportunity for a crafting 'business' sort of thing, so long as we start early.. I'm looking for investors and people who want access to a pumped up crafter. I'm looking to give you no-fee high level crafts and ~~1.5:1(negotiable) on your gold investment after 4 weeks PM me for details or I can give more info in this thread.

Just something I really want to do for fun and potential ingame/lolrealmoney profit, I have a pretty fleshed out 'business' approach to be successful as a crafter and to leverage our investments, instead of just being a run-of-the-mill crafter (I'm going to put like 100% of my ingame resources into this project + it will be part of my d3 blog, so I will be committed).

I have a few friends who have expressed a lot of interest in the project, but there are certain.. evil forces trying to persuade them to play hardcore (tom.. mez) . Which sucks, because they don't have access to the opportunity that a bunch of currency-segregated in-game real money auction houses represent!

Open to different ways of paying you for the investment too (ie <cut of profits + 100% loanpayback + free crafting> or <200% loan payback + free crafting>.

Only looking for gold investment ^^

I would never play HC as my first live i think there are many spots where death is extremely likely if you didnt finish the game before, for example in D2 it was VERY easy dying the first time you encounter Duriel, or the first time you see Diablos red lightning.

Jumping straight to HC and praying that the game is hard enough to kill me several times. Also it's not like D2, where if you die in HC your champ is gone, in D3 you HC character just gets moved to softcore after death.

that's not HC.. that's HC pretending to be HC cept it's HC for pussys.

is it still hard to get into the beta for this? I want to try it out to see if it can run on my computer before buying it

definitely better off making a softcore char first, then going hardcore once understand the game a bit.

agreed 100% with baal, theres gunna be bits where you simply just die, and its like hey wtf happened.

I dont wanna be playing through the early stages of the game 10x over before even making it to the latter bits.

Looking at when this thread was started: Jun 2008 makes me kind of sad. Of course Starcraft 2 was a much longer wait. If I still played online poker I'd probably have time to play it when it comes out.
