ok, i'm probably coming off the wrong way.

I'm sorry, so if im sounding arrogant im really not, I promise im mostly degrading myself for being a fucking moron to never get to that point where I could cashout comfortably. This blog is about ME being a fucking failure at everything.

well why don't you wake up? what the hell do you need to succeed? DO you REALLY need to go out and chill and get wasted to be cool and shit instead of working on something that's gonna get you the money you want? You're sacrifying what you could turn into several thousand dollars for mere short term amusement, this is ridiculous, think long term, both in life and in poker. Screw those bitches, going out clubbing when you're a broke fuck is an absolute waste of your precious time.

Im not sure what to do tomorrow when I see her, should I shake her hand?? -Floofy

yeah fayth, we all know you're a nerd and never go out.

these are the best years of my life and im not gonna spend them sitting behind a laptop so that I can MAYBE one day not have to have a "real" job.

wtf =\

I mean it's probably a good plan but I think you're really missing out on your life.

I'm just trying to find a way to make him realize he could succeed if he just had the discipline.... :/

My friend had once over 1k roll and ogt kinda mad and cashed out, he came back i think 2 months ago, wanted to start back, he deposit 20 bucks, and he's built it up to 1.4k now. From that point on it starts to go a bit faster, cuz u're at NL50, once you get to NL100 if you play enough you can pay for your stuff only with rakeback. I really can't comprehend how you could cash out this 1.5k, it's like throwing all ur effort out the window.

missing out on my life? dude you're judging on something you have no idea about, it looks like you made your choice, you decided to be a cool broke kid instead of rich man =)

And yeah obviously people like Myth and Ket and all those are missing out on a lot too! All a bunch of nerds who never have fun, but yeah some people would rather go out in their little hometown to drink, than travel and party with plenty of money.

Fayth may not be being friendly, but he sure as heck is being nice IMO.

He's also 100% right.

Errr, what I mean by this is while what he's saying may not be pleasant to hear if, but any of it get's through it's very helpfull, and certainly takes a lot more effort than just typing out "Good luck next time"

LOL, That aside, your a young guy, and have a long life ahead of you. One of the great things about youth is you can afford to make lots of mistakes, and so long as you learn from them with very few exceptions it won't be a big deal five or ten years down the road.

You'd be surprised at what you HAVE to pay for. You got parents dude, borrow money from them and invest the poker bankroll for yourself. I've been at microstakes for a year and a half, and I've got a job because I KNOW I'm not good enough to live off just poker yet. Be truthful to yourself and never give up. I'm still fighting the good fight for 18 months ffs until I can afford a good coach that'll skyrocket me to success. I'll see you at the top man

dude you sound like you know what is the right thing to do and the wrong... you know you should attend lectures and smoke less pot etc - get a job etc etc ... You'll get there... I was like you once - I smoked too much at Uni, didn't attend any lectures (where is time for that when you are running missions to get some weed?) and I wasted my entire University experience by being a dick. I felt super guilty too because my parents paid for my college (accomodation on uni campus) plus my expenses which i just spent on pot... felt really bad.

I got a part time job during Uni and ended up getting offered a full time job which I took and I haven't looked back. I'm now a Senior Consultant in the same industry and I earn a massive salary (compared to average person). I finally got to the point in my life where I could easily stop smoking that stupid shit because it was soo bad for me mentally and I got married, had a family, bought a house etc etc.

I'm older and wiser but no regrets AT ALL for what I did when i was younger - part of me wishes I could still do that but there are so many other things happening in my life that that option simply does not exist anymore.

Now I play poker when I can, get laughed at by all the young kids on the site that can devote hours and hours to poker - but that's OK.. My 3.8K bankroll is only a little more than my monthly mortgage payment - but yet I still take my poker seriously because I want to be good at it and I want to build that up. It's kind of a hobby that comes with a savings account. It's pathetic at the moment because I could cash it out and the money would mean nothing at all - it's sooo little.. But I just wanna build it slowly and step up stakes so that eventually I can cash out 20K which will mean something...

I probably digressed a bit - but I want to make the point that you sound like you know where you should be going - you just need to find the motivation, start making the correct choices and things inevitably fall into place. Good luck.
