No freaking way! From starcraft? Didn't he live in Poughkeepsie NY? (I for the record didn't know him, but was going to try to ride with him to a WCG event)

AANNNND ESPN confirms it:

"But as players prepared to take their first break, Hansen was overtaken by Kenny Tran, of Arcadia, Calif., the first to cross the million chip mark with 1.05 million, and Hevad Khan, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., with 805,000 in chips. "

WTF, if I had bummed a ride from him, I'd know this kid!

Good... Bad... Im the guy with the Gun.

Khan is going to rape that new table.

The A6o hand was bad, but khan knows that. He basically likes to win every hand he puts chips in the pot (i'm the same) and he tried to push the guy off his hand, except he ran into KK. The calling of the KK push is obv standard once khan 4bets - he just 4bet smaller to try to look stronger - he clearly can't 4bet and fold like some of you said, that would be terrible.

QQ v AA obv standard for khan. We went to rail for a bit, khan goes nuts every pot he wins, should make entertaining tv. One hand khan raises 22 in EP, daniel alaei calls in SB. Flop AQ2, alaei check calls, and check folds on the 3d turn informing khan he had a set of 2s. Khan complained in the car on the way back ''need to get rid of alaei, hes a psychic''

Ket is down to ~180k after never hitting a flop, on the ACTUAL bubble, they annouce one player left till money. A 60k stack raises to 14k at 2k/4k, and a realllly tighty guy who told the table he wants to call coldcalls. Ket obv makes it 60k to go (putting them both allin) The first dude folds instantly, but the second guy tanks, informing ket he has KK. He puts ket on AK/Arag but is worried about the ace hitting. I told ket he should have called the clock asap, before they annouced someone busted, but the dude with KK finally folds KK faceup. Ket obv shows Q8o.

Blair busted ITM with AQ vs 78c on a Qhi board with two clubs, he cashed for about 25k. Myself mig and tom went to see Ká at MGM, was a really good show. Tomorrow we are seeing stomp and zumanity, and saturday if ket busts we are going skydiving, then its time to rail khan once hes deep. Should be some fun khan moments on ESPN, he spent ages today trying to tilt some guy, talking to him endlessly - guy is ignoring khan which makes khan annoy him even more - its not until the break that khan finds out the guy is deaf, lol.

Khan has also had 3/4 TV interviews already, and more lined up the deeper he goes.
