There isn’t anything I need to accomplish in life anymore. What is my Y n purpose in life now hmmmm. Only thing missing is a kid but do I want to bring a kid into this world hmmm. Materialism doesn’t interest me as I have it all. Even if I had a billion dollars I would just give away 99.999% of it away n keep 100k. I learnt so much already I don’t know what else to learn. I guess one is to be fluent in more languages.
Poker got boring again, I degen my roll playing high stakes spins. I’m still well off don’t have to worry about anything. I don’t know life’s so plain atm. No struggles but no passion for anything. Poker use to be my passion now I have no passion. Money I have enough, friends got enough. Maybe I’m missing a girl in my life atm but I’m good with the peace. Maybe I’ll find a new one in the future but I don’t need a girl to be happy. They gave me a lot of headaches more than happiness. I’m at a weird stage in life that I don’t know what the fuck I need to do to be fulfill. Peer support course isn’t happening for awhile so I’m stuck waking up not knowing what to do most days. I hike, chill at beaches, nature, club when I’m bored maybe that’s what I need to do again go to a club or something. Been awhile since I last went. What I have money can’t buy, peace of mind. What else do I need to do? Travel more? I don’t know. Poker is boring again so I’ll limit myself to 2 days a week or when I feel the itch but I’m still up since I cash out. Stuff I still want to do sky diving, travel more, learn To be semi fluent in French and fluent in mandarin. I guess I’m not making the world better that much but I am making the world a bit better, I donated some of my poker winnings cuz it’s just money. Eating a 500$ meal isn’t even that impressive to me now as I rather cook my own food n eat at home in peace. I’m moving forward albeit slow n steady lol. I’m not complaining about my life at all it’s fucking good all things consider. 99 earth points

I want a kid but will the kid be happy in todays mess up world tis my my dilemma. He would have all the material things needed for a life not to struggle but will he be happy? |

I thought I was poised to write a lot about this subject. Now, I am not so sure. If you want kids have them. If you don't want kids then don't have them. The future is certainly important. Many people cry it's time to be an optimist. Have as many kids as possible! Chris Hedges said, "Hope that is not based in reality is fantasy." That brings us the other side that doesn't care to have kids or may even think let us go extinct I will not bring children into conscioussness!
I have spoken to multiple people that have said that raising children is The Meaning Of Life! Oh, what a life to be born into collapse.
In a better world, in a better life, maybe I do find a woman I want to settle down with and have a family but it likely isn't this life. |

On Boredom:
We are in similar boats lostaccount. It's really tough eeking it out on a humble living and have enough stuff to do. Imagine if I was bored and could remedy that with a week trip to Paris? I've talked about reading and walking, the guitar, DuoLingo... really everything probably. X has Elon's prophaganda machine and fucked algorithms. New York Times has it's minuses too.
You will tire of friends and parks. Although that's a good one. If you are on a good rotation of friends that is really winning. |

I don’t have enough friends to hangout on everytime I’m bored but it’s nice when they do have time to chill. Sometimes when I’m boredom have no one to hang out with so it gets boring when I’m taking a break from poker. I don’t want to spend too much money as I am saving to go Asia |

I was a tour guide for my parents, took them to sight see Vancouver as they don't go out much to the places I go aka nature cause they work a lot but dad retired this year and mom has been retired for awhile now both in their mid 60s. how many people can retired like them in their 60s in our generation rikd. its fuck how a lot of people will have to work till their 80 now but if enjoy your work then its okay but shit it sucks for a lot of people who don't want to work but have to cause of finances. |
