Luke is done, its sad to watch, what were those lazy frontkicks? Does he really want to be there? I dont think he really wants to fight anymore, he seems like he wants to get KOd so he can get out of there.

I'm very impressed with Jon Jones. I mean he didn't wrestlefuck Marreta nor tried to take him down which I'm sure he could'eve done multiple times (hell he was taking dc down and we know what kind of beast he is on top). It's like he said to himself "I'm beating him on his own game" and mostly felt very comfortable with the risks he was taking throughout the fight and never cared to use other tools that are available in his game. Pretty sick.

Every time he gets KOed i'm under the impression he "did died"
expected JBJ to go that strategy tbh just a sloppy execution if they rematch he s gonna smack him pretty badly... Santosés only chance is to be agressive as fuck and survive the distance counter strikes
2 judges gave round 4 to Santos..... He literally landed 2 shots and was with his back to the fence the entire round, got all of his shots either checked or dodged and JBJ almost disabled his legs???? Judges are bamboozling
Easily 49-46 for JBJ
Also purely medically speaking, I'm guessing fight shouldve been stopped, Santos's legs were super fucked up round 5
I think pretty clear win for JBJ because of octagon control. Santos threw a lot but missed like 80% of his shots. But overall a bit boring fight and it felt like JBJ thought he was more ahead than he was and just continued with his gameplan. Also Santos did it well with leg kicks.

I thought Jones won 3-2.
I don't remember exactly, but I think I gave Jones rounds 3, 4, and 5.
I agree with Spitfire that the fight should have been stopped, seems irresponsible to let a fighter go on with a knee like that probably risking a career ending injury

Santos had surgeries on both his knees... man the medical stoppages should really be stepped up in MMA .. I would be fine giving more freedom to refeers, most of them are pretty good, I really can't recall an absolutely terrible stoppage by a referee the past few years... Askren vs Lawler one was sketchy but far from terrible
Also I don't know why referees dont act as a judge in fights, at least for split decisions occurances
