Nice win for Overeem. He had to survive a lot in that first round.

I don't see why you would bet against her, she's like the OG of the game and actually improves. Obviously, a young Shevchenko would have loads of trouble w her

he was a bad bet even in retrospect.

So weird he changed back to his old Ubereem fighting style (but without the roid strenght) focusing mostly on knees and covering up with his back against the cage, I guess you can't teach new tricks to and old horse

Ehh, given how many times Overeem has changed his game, that doesn't seem fair.

Makachev vs Tsurakyan had some unreal good wrestling exchanges.

Hm.. Off-suite socks..Last edit: 24/04/2019 10:49

thas true, that wasn't fair.

What I mean is that since he left Jackson's camp its almost as he erased all that he trained there, perhaps the style Jackson came up for him wasn't working that well for him and decided to go back to his former self and fight wrestlers as he did before, no punches to not risk timed double legs and only knee them to death.

it worked vs Lesnar because he was terrified of being hit so Overeem walked him down, but now it was the opposite, he cowered and backed to the fence while a grappler threw punches recklessly, I find it stupid that a grappler can do that to a K-1 champion who in theory should be able to knock you out with ease if you do that shit.
