- At the weigh-ins Manny Bermudez, Renan Barao and Jessica Penne missed the required weight for their respective fights. Bermudez weighted at 140 pounds and Barao weighted at 138 pounds, 4 pounds and 2 pounds over the bantamweight non-title fight limit of 136 respectively. Meanwhile, Penne weighed in at 118 pounds, 2 pound over the strawweight non-title fight limit of 116. All three bouts continued at catchweight respectively. Barao and Penne were fined 20 percent of their purse and Bermudez was fined 30% of his purse which went to their opponents.
- Jessica Penne pulled out of her fight against Jodie Esquibel on the day of the fight.

Sadly that type of a fight wont happen... It would just be a fan fight, which obv never happen. Like why would they fight? Cain doesnt have a title and is a HW, JJ is LW and doesnt want to go to HW

Spitfiree how are you coming to such conclusions?

cain was a champ and very close to getting a shot after a win here (although belt will probably be vacated by dc as they wont fight each other).. JJ has expressed interest in hw as well since he basically has cleared lw out. Cain is the only fighter who has looked god like in his non injured fights he took. He lost to cigano on the 1st fox fight totally banged up and then went on to man handle cigano and basically ruin ciganos career in two slaughters and gassed badly in the mexico fight where he did not take altitude issue seriously...aside from that he has been invincible. Its makes super sense if he is healthy and can hold on to that for 2-3 fights.
