So, I was at the gym today giving it my all. I finished 2x5, 1x6 in the overhead press with 50 lbs. I have to check my ego at the door. 50 lbs. is barely any weight at all but it is an improvement from the 45 2x5, 1x8 I did last week so that's all that I should care about. I guess I should buy 1 lb weights or 1.5 lb weights to add to the bar because 55 is probably too much for 2x5, 1x5+ next workout.

Anyways, I finish my overhead press work and move on to the v-bar lat pulldown. I'm just checking to see if the lat pulldown stuff is open and luckily one of them is so then I am looking for a v-bar and this viking motherfucker comes out of no where and gets my attention. I can't hear him because I am listening to Knocked Loose literally on 100% so I take out one of my shitty ear buds and he is like "what are you looking for?" I'm like "what?" Viking: "What are you looking for?" Me: "Oh, V-bar" He proceeds to find the v-bar and hands it over and I thank him and we move on with the training at hand. I must have looked totally noob and lost. I forgot to mention I didn't feel like changing clothes so I just went in jeans, t-shirt, and a flannel "shacket." I was the only person in the gym not wearing gym clothes. What do we make of this LP? Viking will get a head nod and a what's up if I run into him again. Thanks for being welcoming and helpful sir. Any suggestions on some good blue-tooth ear buds for training specifically? I just got the whatever $29.99 ones but they aren't very good. Not sure I want to spend $150+ on some beats ones or bose sport ones. Not a big fan of giving Apple any more money.

Finally got my 1.25 lb weights with me at the gym. It should make for a smoother linear progression.

Got home from work and didn't feel like changing so went to the gym in jeans. The world keeps turning.

My friend told me about this deal at the Vitamin Shop. $1 for C4 Energy Drinks. I go to drink one and there is something in it called Carnosyn (beta-alanine). I look it up and it says it causes tingling and itchiness. Should I be drinking these?

I bought 32 of them which looking back was kind of stupid I guess. I drank all of them. I got used to the side effects but I did not purchase again.
