Assuming Christianity changed its ways through criticism and satire is far fetched to say the least. It has always been sects fighting over doctrine and eventually trying to keep up with modernity because they were losing customers.
That's exactly why essentially giving Muslims the finger about their religion has the opposite effect than what you're saying it's supposed to. It makes the "we're at war with the infidels" camp bigger and the western way of life a threat. There's a huge difference between criticizing someone and trying to cut them out, not even accepting them as someone who can live next to you. There are aspects of Islam that should be feared, but joining the people who point and shout and vote for demagogues is certainly doing the opposite of helping. Polarizing the situation is a solution that only a teenager or a zealot would come up with, when at the end of the day time works against any religion's influence

The kurds also bomb the shit out of Turkey which is one of the main allies of the USA in NATO. Its a problem that is yet to be resolved. They are bombing ISIS cause ISIS is funded by Turkey and they are trapped between both sides, of course that they are gonna shit on them too.

Whatever dude, I stand with the kurds. Not the dictator/fascists in Turkey or ISIS. I think their cause against Turkey is more understandable than palestinian vs Israel. Turkey is the real occupant and apartheid regime here

Is extremism a phenomenon derived from Islam (or any organized religion)? No.

Two different entities that obviously can be mutually beneficial. Root causes are socio economic.

Lets begin with this, any certain group of people are peaceful and lovely, at least the majority of them. Do you think people under ISIS regime outside of soldiers and mercenaries etc. want war? Do you think turks want Erdogan as a dictator and want their rights shit on?

Turks way of threating kurds have been critized internationally many times also even before. They occupy Cyprus to this day and they refuse Kurds their Kurdistan. The kurds are fucking awesome people. Unlike every other muslim group or country in the area they STAY and fight ISIS. And ISIS fighters really fear the kurds because they allow women to participate in the war. And to be killed by a woman is big shame for a muslim... You have to admit,its SO awesome... They dont run from their children and women to Europe ! They also threat their women in a good way, unlike other countries we could mention in the area. The UN critize "both partys" only because they recognize Kurdistan as unlikely, thus its better to be on "good foot" with Turkey. But, as you can see, even thou european leaders have done EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER to be on good foot with Turkey for a long time now, its not remotely possible to achieve even this much with islamic goverments.

Aka the "Backfire Effect". The only effective way to get anywhere with someone who holds strong views which have integrated their personality to the point of being a core part of their identity is to present yourself as an epistemic peer, rather than talking at them. Depersonalizing the debate is less likely to trigger the Backfire Effect.
