its full of clichés not symbols. cool white genius guy among all the young programmers with a good looking wannabe girlfriend (pretty much suits style), gay boss, when the biggest company in shit they call him from the street to save millions of dollars and yet he is at the bottom of the ladder. and the hacking part is... yeah ok.
wp the only differencec between him and Gates & Jobs is that they werent at the bottom of the ladder .. oh wait Jobs was
thats not the symbols i was talking about its more like V for Vendetta/1984 like society who cares about the guy himself or his girlfriend lawl
sorry thats pretty shallow, i can destroy absolutely every show if I look at it that way

yea i may be overcritic sometimes, but the wire, breaking bad and boardwalk empire set the bar so fucking high
its like this: when i go to the movies to watch something like avengers or jurassic park, i pretty much know what to expect and just trying to enjoy the show without this attitude, but when it comes to series like this which could be top.... well its different

It's nowhere close to BB, the wire or boardwalk, but they are trying hard, doubt it ll work w this plot either.
It's a pretty bad year for series overall if we compare them to those. GoT was nowhere close, True Detective is just a shadow of the previous season, Better Call Saul... dunno i stopped watching 4-5 eps in should probably give it a shot though, hopefully Fargo will be damn good.
I'd much rather watch something like Suits at this point since I know what I'm getting and don't have high expectations of depth or smtng plus its fun

Watched few episodes. It's incredibly ridiculous. Haven't seen anything so bad since Suits probably.
lol, i guess people have different taste, boardwalk got super boring after a few season, stopped it ages ago, snooze fest. Mr Robot is amazing lol.
The weird little camera angles, then weird stop at things that aren't important, the music fits so well with the different scenes, the up and downs, it's great lol.
Still not Breaking Bad level good, but i think like a 8,7 or so. Hard to say when you're in the middle of it, people have a tendency to over rate, easier a few weeks after.
I guess im biased about my opinion since i just finished off the Millenium series and they are amazing especially Lisbet Salander's character and Mr Robot seems slightly the same
^ I guess people are a bit different in taste. But to me, a show like Suits, which I know a lot of my mates thinks is amazing, will never be rated particularly high, since it's got no depth, cheesy one liners, gimmicks, and just following some formula. It's kinda what you watch after you've watched what you want to watch, but it's still fine entertainment, just not stuff you recommend when people ask for recommendations.
Do tend to check out most stuff, but stop after an episode or two, or even sooner if it doesn't feel right lol.
Oh, here's another show I think might be good, at least looks promising in the Trailer, and it's a new Netflix one:
