Yah you clearly don't know what a robbery looks like. Not a whole lot of people had Lawler in their first fight, and if you did, power to you, but it certainly wasn't a robbery.

Lawler's win paid out 88 points on Kountermove, while Hendricks' loss paid out 90.5 points. I think there's an error in the points payout, since Lawler landed more overall strikes and won the fight. The winner is always supposed to get more points in that situation.
Anyway, they already paid out the winners on Kountermove, so I don't think anything will come of it.

Only real clear rounds were 3 for Hendrix and 5 for Lawler though so I'm not ridiculously* surprised.
Round 2 was the clearest round for Hendricks. That was when Lawler fell asleep and did nothing at all. Round 3 was clear for Hendricks, but he was less active.
I might be getting 2 and 3 mixed up. There was one round Hendrix was landing multiple combinations that I thought he clearly won, but the rest his advantage just seemed control based which usually I find judges give too much weight to, but maybe they swung too far in the opposite direction this time.

The great thing about Robbie Lawler winning the title is that Rory MacDonald doesn't have to face an elite wrestler now. And yes, Rory does get the next title shot, as he's the #1 contender and the event was already set in stone after Rory won his last fight. It will take place in Canada.

Lawler did fight terribly most of the fight. 1st and end of the 5th round and the rest was like he disappeared. But he was the only one trying to finish, all those cage stalls hurt hendricks and he did admit to coasting for the win. People didn't boo this fight because of Lawler that's for sure, and the last fight they had most people had it for Lawler.

I think it's crazy to think Pettis is a bigger favorite over Melendez than Hendricks over Lawler. Also epic lol at heavyweight lines being near the +300 range.

Why is Lawler considered Interim champ? If GSP comes back he gets the title fight instantly?

He's not considered interim champ. Either way I don't see how he won that fight. I should watch round one again I didn't even have him winning that. However he is awesome so it's whatever. I think that is largely how people feel about this.

I don't like Hendricks one bit, but I do kinda feel bad for him. This is two title fights he's been jobbed in by the judges.
You'd think after the GSP fight he'd learn to not take the 5th round off though.

Wonder if Pettis will be able to not get smothered by Khabib. 3 finishes in a row against guys that are nearly impossible to finish. What a killer. His stand up is a league above everyone elses in MMA. He hits people so hard that by the time they get to the ground black belts are grappling like blue belts.

Pettis is unbelievable. Before the fight i thought there was probably value in melenedez, but the entire time I watched I had this feeling that there was no way he wouldnt catch gilbert with something at some point. He's a great fighter moving backwards, but maybe the best of all time moving forwards. The windows of opportunity he takes advantage of are so small. It's like he combines the best aspects of Anderson, Aldo and Jones: anderson's reflexes, aldo's takedown defense and quick finishing ability and jones creativity and problem solving ability. yet somehow he is still beatable: wouldnt be at all surprised to see khabib blanket him. The vulnerability combined with the incredible finishes makes his popularity ceiling closer to anderson silva level than jones/aldo who basically seem unbeatable.
every time he fights i ask myself 2 questions: will he lose this one or will he do something incredible? very different than other fighters and makes me want to watch his fights more than anyone.
