I don't know why there is no thread already for this show but is fucking awesome.


4 seasons and 6 episodes so far, the last one was brutal.

Pretty sure someone has made a thread about this show. And yes, this show is awesome.

Lost interest season 2 or 3 (whenever the first major storyline ended). Couldn't get into any of the characters. Season 1 i was really into though.

If you have time to watch a season of a show - Fargo is prob one of the best ways to go. It's pretty damn amazing. Thornton's character is the nuts

One of the best episodes of this show just happened last night. What the fucking fuck indeed.

The closes thing to Rambo are actually afghan soldiers, those fuckers were trained decades ago to fight russia and since then they have been warriors in perpetual war, I think most people make the mistake of confusing these guys with some improvised goat herder soldier, there is a reason why they are giving so much grief to the most advanced army in the world with just sticks and stones.

Season 1 of homeland is great then the shows falls off immensely until the point that it is the worst show on premium cable by the end of the 3rd season when brody dies

well I was surprised too but actually it gets interesting again (S1 > S4 > S2 > S3)

Just got fully caught up. Episode 9 was really good.

im not saying brody dying was what made it bad that is obv what had to happen, the whole season was just trashy imo. I just think the hanging scene was a low point not necessarily because brody died though.

Very good season. I wish they made Saul more badass. He is fucking EX head of the CIA, agent. I like when he killed that guy in a cell pretending to hang himself. He had some good opportunities to be bad ass.Like the scene when he got the M16 and just past it to Carry, or on the run.

Some intelligence officers work mostly in the office and only do very little field work and they can still get promoted to very high level posts.

And even out of those who mostly do field work, very few are pro-assasins like Quinn (used to be).

I almost caught up with the actual episode, but I have to say this season is so illogical it hurts my mind. Highlight would be finding a taliban leader and having only one drone ? They have about 10 000 drones over the country practically doing nothing, they have a high priority target and only put 1 drone there ? Sure makes sick sense, so the taliban runs away, he outplayed em by showing himself ggwp

Can't decide if Dar Adal is actually a traitor or they just want to make us think that while we wait for the finale.

I hope Quinn doesn't die, I'd miss him, he's a baller. But their season finales always have a (somewhat) unexpected death, I wouldn't be surprised if he did. Plus I've read he (the actor - Rupert Friend) is getting involved in a lot of other projects, although I know that doesn't necessarily mean he'll be killed off.

Love this show.

Overall a good season although definitely worse than the previous ones. That final episode felt like it belonged mid-season rather than the finale. Quite a disappointing end.

Next season :

Saul will be director of the CIA and he ll want to passively go after the taliban using Quinn/Carrie
Quinn will find some connection to his current mission w the taliban but there will be implications
Carrie will want to quit the job and be a full time mom, but she will find herself wanting to help Quinn

+ I bet Quinn/Carrie will somehow punish Dar Adal
