Wait, what? 130k in 12 months and now only 2k to your name?

well i got 10 powerball tickets for $142 million dollars 1st place lol, so lets win that and i'll get everyone paid in 2 days! lol...

naw but seriously, a couple months live grinding and 2500 a month on hero is fine, i'm atleast on my way now, that didn't matter to much, i had to keep what i was left with, not like i can afford to send out a br under $2500.

I work for noble causes, just didn't get the score needed, i got what i got, then i had to pay them, fuckin sucked, then pay rent, more suckage, but part of life, atleast have br and rent paid til january. thats a big plus ++

ynot - ive been staked, i paid 27k of debts so far, i have like 12.5k left in debt, i have a lil over 2k. my dads gonna help me by choppin mtt's, we're gonna work together, everyone that i owe a red cent to, knows they will get it when i have it, and thats the gods honest truth.

i might keep 2k if i got the exact 12.4k or w/e, and pay them when i flip it to 4k, thats about as scummy as i'd be when it truly comes down to it.

im a good guy, im not tryin to hurt anyone, i just wanted to make it more simple, lol, byrn burned a white lie that didn't really matter at all, I shoulda just explained I got 3rd and had to pay them off first obviously, as you guys would obviously pay your parents first if you owed them.

My dad believes me in 100% and I believe in myself a ton, i'm finally back on my own time, gimme time, gimme a break, before you know it, the wholes just about dug out of.

doin my best,
Ryan

I hope you realize you just look like a compulsive gambler trying to rationalize the shit out of his wrongdoings. I hope you do eventually pay back the debts but I don't think any of those people are expecting to see their money any time soon.

Some people may not agree with me on this, but I think involving your father in your warped poker world, vesting financially in you, and perhaps even half truthing him is worse than just flat out completely messing up a stake from someone in the poker world, who are fully aware (don't care how much your dad 'loves gambling'...it's not the same thing) of the risks/consequences. Not saying you did the latter. Don't know don't care. What I was getting at earlier I guess...involving your family...it's just a bit beyond depressing no matter what rationalization you have.

Gotta admit, woulda been pretty sweet if you had just dumped the 17.5k to your backer. Probably woulda snap-backed you again for another 20k at a more reasonable rate so you can play bigger games on a regular basis. Now you're still stuck meddling around in whatever you can afford on a day to day basis without knowing what the next month is going to bring.

bye now

You're a disgrace.

I like your shameless edit of the original post in the hope that people don't notice what a scumbag you are.

I don't buy your story for a second. You talk about how you "understand the business side of poker" and then make up some bullshit story that you thought it would be better to lie about finishing 4th so you didn't have to "explain it all". Really you were trying to avoid paying any money to people.

You weren't caught in a white lie, you were caught in an outright lie.

I also had a fairly good idea of what your response was going to be and you didn't disappoint. It came as no surprise that the debt you owed to your immediate family members came out to be exactly that of the extra money you had previously tried to hide.

This is exactly what you're doing. You're playing NL200 with your winnings. A game you cant beat.

Just admit that you have no intention of paying back your debt. It didnt matter if you won this tournament or not, you had no intention of paying anyone money.

If you really had any interest in paying people, you would have cut a deal with your parents to pay them back later, since you're embarking on a staking deal with your dad. Allowing you to use that money to pay back people who have now been waiting the best part of a decade.

Good to see youve got your priorities right and are making a real effort to get people paid back.

up to 1/2, mostly nl50-nl100, i'm solid enough to win at nl200 most the time as well, when im rolled for it from the bi's on the way up, i believe i'll fly that game, then again little reason to play it w/ a 2500 cashout max per month, low risk high reward stuff mostly

so ya prolly ceiling at nl100 online and see where it goes live etc

When you took out your last 2:1 loan to buy a car to move to Canada and subsequently 'totaled it' a couple of days after purchase, did you actually total it? or did you just take the cash, lose it gambling, make up the story, then take another loan so you could go to Costa Rica.

honest answers only, so please don't consult your dad for the answer.

Wow. Neat little development.

I can totally understand why you would have so many backers lining up around the block willing to stake you like you claim. Normally lying like this would effect your reputation but since yours is non-existent I guess it doesn't matter.

You're right though, history doesn't lie.

Great to see your dad has fuck all ethics either, know where you get it now. Sounds like you two really wrestled with a moral dilemma involving backers who have forfeited thousands of dollars to you and are still waiting on payments after years.
