Comes out tomorrow. Apparently one of the biggest budget movies ever, 250 mill - Hopefully a good start to the summer movies

star wars meets gladiator meets 300 meets lord of the rings meets profit. Don't know if I'm going to like this one. Kind of surprised it's Disney when I watch the trailer but I guess Pirates of the Caribbean is Disney and those are pretty good. I might make time to go see this in theaters if I can.

i dont have high expectations at all for this movie.
from the trailers it just looks like another copy paste of 'good guy saves the world gets the woman while constant action' type of film

I personally don't think it looks all that amazing...

if i was eleven again, it would probably be as good as Independence day. Seeing how im not eleven and independence day is shit, most likley this will be shit too

Time jumping science fiction epics always failed the box office. Something about people saving the world in the future with 1 guy and his sword never connected with a mass audience and always look weird and boring when watched inside cinemas.

Anyone hear anything about The Three Musketeers (2011)? They made it look kinda dumb in the trailer, but I'll see it eventually since the story is good. My favorite is The Three Musketeers (1993), with Sheen/Sutherland/Platt/O'Donnell/Tim Curry, and an honorable mention for The Man in the Iron Mask (1998).

Watched it the other week. Probably a 5 or 6 out of 10 movie in my view. It was good, non-stop action with good visuals and constumes, cgi etc along with the usual cliche stupidity. There were about 3 roll my eyes, "this is retarded moments" and I dislike Milla Jovovich (does she have to do a slow mo super acrobatic dive/jump in the air in every fucking movie?) and I think James Corden is a twat but it's balanced out by Waltz and the three muskateers actors, Bloom was alright as well I thought (suitably silly, fashion battle for example). The humour was a bit hit and miss for me and the sword fighting was ok.
