Well thats why we had the 7 days and posts requirement, but i guess someone from those sites owns a LP account already, changing it to 30 days wont change a thing. Releasing it 15 minutes in advance can result in different problems and a low turn out, cause most LP regulars will forget to check in time and the server might have an issue with 100's checking for the password at the same time.

We rather wouldn't have used the pw protection method and of course I expected not-LP 'ers in this tournament. What I did not expect is that it would result in 4000 Russians joining the tournament.

Wtf is this shit there are like 4600 people. Freaking Russians all over the place with multiple accounts and shit. Was looking forward to this but not anymore.

My idea is next time you release the password you do it like 15-30 minutes before the tourney so It's harder for so many people to register if the password gets out. Also, make the post requirement like 100+ or something. This tourney should be for people who are actually regular contributors to the site, not some random retards begging for passwords and 5 posts to get them. The week delay thing won't do shit cause they'll just post some crap, come back for the next 3 tourneys, and then never be a part of the community again.
