This is due to the repetitive nature of movements while playing poker (and gaming and such). Having to move and click your mouse repeatedly during a session of online poker can be tiring for your arm, and with poor ergonomic setups at your computer table, this can cause serious pains for the long-term. While there are programs that make it easier for you, like assigning hotkeys with TableNinja for example, another sollution is getting a keyboard just for poker. Poker Controls made a keyboard especially for that: the Wireless Poker Controller

With buttons to switch tables and easy ways to bet the pot, or just bet 2x, 3x or 5x the big blind, it should make life as a multitabler much easier (and more ergonomic?). It has the most used buttons easily accessible and should you ever have tilt, there's always the TILT-button (a panic-button for pokerplayers).

The device was shown at the International Gaming Expo in London at the end of January, at which they mentioned it would be released in March 2009. So now it's closing its release date and should come out very soon. It is still not for sale, but for any updates you can pre-register on the website of the manufacturer. They will make a draw to give away 1000 free devices to those pre-registered.

So, what do you think? Are you gonna buy this when it comes out or do you prefer your normal keyboard-and-mouse-setup?

The shoulder-buttons are to switch between tables, forward and backwards. Although it might be pretty annoying when you have to click 10 times to get to the table you want to look at. More on the button layout can be found on the website: http://www.pokercontrols.com/poker_control.php

That Tilt-button could come in handy from time to time though... =(

Tried this out at the Internatioanl Gaming Expo in london in January and whilst it is nice to use on a couple of tables the practicalities of using it on 4plus tables make using the mouse still far easier

I've thrown my wireless x-box controller a few times when i lose games on live... i get like 5x more raged after some poker sessions, i'd imagine this thing would have a lifespan of ~5days in my hands.

Hey, that thing is similar to the remote control also. That's pretty nice, so many new tools to play poker, which one is better though do you guys think? the remote control or the controller? The remote i'm talking about is at pokerremotecontrol .com

I'd like to hear about some comparisons or reviews if anybody used one before?

Thanks,
Scott

it nice if you want to other stuff while playing poker...

pokergod_   Canada. May 31 2009 17:18. Posts 3

hey I registered for the pokercontrols too, but the controller seems kind of useless. I also got the remote control for 20 bucks shipping included. Haven't received it yet, but it looks alright. I used a code "blook" and saved a buck, not a big deal but did anybody else try any of these? Which one works best or actually, which one do would you guys prefer? I'm not sure if i want to invest in the poker keyboard, does anybody have any pictures? I found the remote at pokerremotecontrol.com. Did anybody try it?

Thanks people.

Hi, I just received the remote control. This thing is worth it man. It's so fun to play and easy. It's great, you guys should check it out. So far I only tried it on party poker and it's good. 20 bucks!
