The final table went as following: At the beginning of the final phase Alex Foxen doubled up with aces. Michael Wang paid AA off and soon after that Ryan Riess, who had KJ against John Haigh's AT hit the rail.
Official final started with Dara O'Kearney as the short stack. Poker player went all-in with 87, but lost to Haigh and Grafton, who both called with better hands.
Afterwards there was a long moment of nothing and finally John Haigh decided to risk it all with QQ. Poker player got two callers – Hall and Foxen both turned over AK. King on the flop meant they shared the pot.
Sixth spot went to Michael Wang. He decided to defend with T7 and caught a ten on the river only to see AA from Angelou-Konstas.
Next to go was Sam Grafton. Poker player moved in with JT. Leader called him with 76. The flop ran A67. Turn was another seven which meant the Englishman was gone.
Tom Hall finished 4th. He was also eliminated by the future champion from Greece, who this time had AK. Hall caught a straight with his KQ, but Angelou-Konstas caught a runner runner flush.
Labat was next to hit the rail and Foxen managed to double up with a very small stack (just several blinds). At this time the players left in the game decided for a deal. Angelou-Konstas was to take £840,000, and Alex Foxen guaranteed himself £720,000.
The final HU was all about extra £100,000 and PartyPoker trophy. Foxen soon found himself with a nice hand to raise – 88. Opponent called with QJ. The flop came KA4. Check-call and 3 on the turn, where both players checked. T came on the river and after a check from Greek player the American bet a huge portion of his stack. A little bit of theatrical tanking and all-in. Foxen thought hard about it and finally called, just to see he lost to a straight.
