Oh makes sense, I've seen this a bit more in higher stakes hands It makes sense to fold out the 26% ish equity they have with those hands.

Its incredibly difficult for villain to show a profit here vs strogos range because his flatting range on the CO is likely very unbalanced and heavily weighted towards the exact kind of hand he ended up having, this is further cemented when he chooses not to backraise 4-bet and flats again, overvaluing his position in an inflated pot with a very weak range. The types of flops he hits 678, 986 are boards where stroggos is often check folding. Also villain is likely to get owned on Q8x, Q9x, K9x, KJx, KQx etc.. flops (vs our exact hand)

A lot of plays people make these days (compared to 2 years ago) are very high varience at best break even plays, making the games "tougher (cause people are pushing 0ev spots more often)) but these types of players don't do well in the long run. They are also gonna experience really ugly downswings which can and very likely break their BR or mental focus (which ends up breaking BR anyway)

Okay wow so much good advice in a single post that I've never thought about before!

I've just started to read this forum on a daily basis and your posts have always helped me think differently and realize some leaks in my game and thinking proccess.
And also your comments come from a really good place, not ego driven which is a realy rare thing.

Call call call is way better here then spazzjamming the turn - the rivers that hero semi-bluffs hits also irrelevant since they are kinda obvious (A, Q, J) so If any of those drop its a pretty easy fold, also in general strogos will be aware that the top of villians range is maybe KQ, and KJs, more likely Tx or QJ, AJ etc.. so since villians perceived range is so weak one should exepct hero to bluff off a bunch here

Also as a rule of thumb here playing the river is very +EV cause a lot of regs will make mistakes like checking a hand like KQ/KJ on the river with the stupid mentality "he cant call with worse" (sometimes they will even check AA/AK because they are getting tricky and wanna check / call trap on bricks) A lot of people (regs and fish) play the river really poorly and getting there in position information and a plan is a very attractive option. OOP is more of the shove or fold mentallity
