Alot of hands that you're beating preflop that could call that is now beating you. Not a bad fold at all.

i think you have to block this flop. he's much MUCH less likely to bluff at it if you bet. he could easily have a hand that is either worthless now (like 99/TT/AXs where X != T) or that he'll fold now, like AK or AQ. this flop may be just as scary for him as it is for you.

if you check you let him push you off of your hand w/ AK, AQ, 99, TT, anything, either now or on the turn. if you bet you force him to have (a) a real hand or (b) a lot of balls to push you off of AA here.

what i mean is you get no information by check/calling, planning to check/fold the turn. that's just throwing money at anyone with a hand or running a bluff.
