can I shove here? since the board has been getting scarier and scarier, or will I get called often since heart draw missed? i could rep Q9, AQ maybe, J8, T8, 88..

vs 16/13 reg, he seems pretty good and he knows im aggro bvb.

I might try and outlevel him here with $88.80. It's much cheaper and fucks people's heads up.

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.Last edit: 25/07/2011 05:33

Don't like raising flop. When I'm bluffraising I like to at least have some equity. Also; calling with this hand preflop against a 4xbb open is not gonna be profitable. I'd rather 3bet pre or fold.
As played, you have to shove to rep 8X, but considering it's BvB you should expect to be looked up very often.

This hand is a classic example of a concept I like/made up for myself: making bigger mistakes to make up for the mistake you made earlier in the hand (i.e. spewing).

Yeah no matter how often you tell yourself that there are spots where it's really hard to resist to put a bit of money in on earlier streets with bad/close to none equity for both value betting and bluffing.

It's so much easier to play when you have direct outs and/or good back doors, I always do what my man K4iros has done in this hand, float/raise with a hand that has no hope of improving/picking up equity and before I know it I am sucked into The Bluffing Vortex. Like in this hand if you actually knew you will be 3 barreling a lot of the time I doubt you'd raise a hand that can't pickup any equity apart from a gutter and a crappy fd

you always give great advice twisted

I dont really like my play at all, I usually only do this with hands that have equity.. but I played this hand 12hrs into my session, I wasn't thinking straight :/

I should probably just fold the river.. unless a heart comes, then I could easily rep the flush and get more folds.

16hrs of poker today! zzz
