Why in gods name would he ever bet the flop? IMO His play is fine, except his river should be a bit bigger.
Your turn raise reps fuck all, as he holds all the jacks. The only hand he can put you on is some PP, but hes probably thinking you wont stack off with a PP if he re pops it, as him repopping it on turn is super strong. Obv he doesnt know you turn a boat, but its way too narrow of a range for you to put you on. He has to be thinking your hand is air a great % of time. If he is leading that river he def should be making it bigger imo. I think I would rather just x/r river if i was villain, as I feel if someone is raising turn in this spot is def going to fire barrel on the river esp if hero has shown high aggression and high won without SD %, they are going to be firing a big bet on river hoping to get a fold imo, trying to rep a Jack.
Obv cooler hand.
BTW, I rather bet flop, cuz he can have AK alot in his range, and if I bet flop, he might peel flop and fold turn alot. Dependant ofc. |
