villain is a tag running like 20/18, but he is a little bit aggro and 'plays some poker'. ie he 4bet/called TT vs me with no history previously (like a week ago or somethin). I don't have a lot of other history with him

what is best by river? can't imagine a shove gets called by worse on this river since its like almost impossible for me not to have jj/qq beat by river jam. Should I bet real small? check call?

c/f imo
JJ/QQ mostly ch behind and won't call bet unless you have some lulz dynamic
and everything else is beating you i think =)

Urgh, this is not a fun spot. I'm really not too sure.

I'd either c/f or make kind of a range-merging bet. It takes away his ability to bluff as well unless he's a sicko.

I see c/c as being infinitely better than bet/call or bet/fold, followed by c/f. I can't imagine why you are betting here when so many draws missed and his range consists purely of A) hands that will almost certainly fold that had showdown value on the turn B) missed draws and C) better hands. To bet you have to expect A) to fold out better hands or B) get value from worse much more than c/c would, despite blowing out all his chances to bluff with missed draws

c/c takes away his ability to bluff much more profitably than b/f does

Do you play 24/7 or do you just get into gayness constantly?

I think you can shove or c/c. I don't know if i'd c/f given the amount of combo draws that would call turn.

Now I really am a busto. Thanks FTP.

we are deepish here to call a shove
count hand combos that beat you vs what you beat?

I think if villain were in that spot his bet would be a shove, and I really feel that calling a shove wouldn't be good for us in the long run.

On the other hand if we shove ourselves, I think there's a chance he might even fold something like Axcc, but also in a weird way there's a chance he'll try and do some hero bluffcatch with QQ because we're not repping too much. I'm not really sure which one it'll be skewed towards but hence it being a weird range merging shove.

i don't think we should be shoving unless there is dynamic or we've seen him make some light calldowns
c/f or c/c based on what hand combos you think he can have by the river and stove it
i still think it's mostly c/f tho
