Posts 1281 i dont know what the hell u mean by "risking a split pot". if you're afraid another Q or 10 is going to fall and ur opponent will make his straight, u're playing too weak. look at u, you have the NUTS on the flop and u're drawing to GREATER NUTS. great opportunity to slowplay. check the turn or bet more than 1$. nuff said

Well if I don't bet at all the guy is going to check until he gets his straight anyway, so it's not a very effective slowplay. I made pretty decent small bets which kept him calling so that was good but I think I coud've got a bit more out of this hand. bah Last edit: 29/11/2005 18:23
