no strong ones, he seems bluffy and I am cally

just general thoughts about the hand on flop/turn, I think a lot of people are stone cold bluffing flop and turn, u don't?

i prefer call, we are good a lot, and when K or Q falls he is likely to barrel. And what are we even repping when we raise?

we rep air if we raise

lol

i think call flop and turn is good vs someone who seems aggressive (good player or not), barring any further reads. I'd like to hear thoughts tho..

folding flop seems terrible because I think we have the best hand v often, and I think that carries over to turn and river depends on villain

So that means we should be raising with a 7 right?

In any case, I don't think people are going to be calling a flop raise w/ air, we're behind Ax, and we run the risk of getting 6 outed.

like all pocket pairs will call a raise I think or ur blowing them off of a bluff. I rarely raise here w/o a reason. might be wrong

eh this seems fine to me, kinda spewy but not much

EDIT: I'm assuming this was fine if you were planning on calling a nonshove bet on the river.

well you're oop and just hoping for a check back most of the times on the river (do you call river if turn was a Q?) so I prefer folding flop
In position we could do many things

That's why I'm not too much of a fan for calling here. Turn is going to be checked through when he has air and we're going to hope river goes check check and take it down with K high? Or if we bet river, do we have a lot more FE than had we raised flop?

And if he does have air, "blanks" aren't really blanks because those are the cards that will give him random one pairs to win at showdown.

I'd rather just raise flop if I think he's totally full of it and fold out his equity share + A high, but if he's good enough to level 3 call my raise with 66, I still have equity to catch a pair on the next cards.

its prolly cuz I post a bunch of badly played hands ;D

cool a higher stakes guy said don't do this so I guess the argument is leaning towards its no good ;D

lebowski   Greece. Oct 21 2009 16:57. Posts 9205

I agree with you edzwoo but I'm still convinced with the raising flop part =P
I've seen regs call with QJo in similar spots just because they don't want to be outplayed with what seems like an obvious bluff

this is just absolutely atrocious beyond compare

stop putting in money drawing dead

hint: you're drawing dead when you call once or twice and check/fold to the 2nd or 3rd barrel

Eh, I can go a few more orbits in life, before taxes blind me out - PoorUser
