meh i'd rather not commit with such a weak draw. i thought if somebody behind me popped it up i could reraise to utilize max fold equity. i planned to barrel any blank river btw, but wondering if a standard villain will fold a bare queen here often enough

board is too dry, just based on the board texture on river i dont like this play

i dont mind just giving it up and not betting after flop tho

he doesn't even know how often his jack is clean, let alone any straight outs if it gets in on the flop

how good is this player in your opinion? If he is good, seeing your 3rd barrell on a blank river might lead him to think you have a good hand and fold. If he is bad, he might call just since the river couldn't have helped you. I'm not sure this is exactly correct, please correct me if wrong. I feel a good player would fold and bad player would call if they had a medium strength hand like top pair.

this looks like the worst possible oesfd you could get

getting it in on the flop is kinda meh, unless there's something about villain we should know, you have 41% against { QQ, TT-99, AdJd, Ad5d, KdQd, KJs, QTs+, JTs, J8s, KJo, QTo+, JTo, J8o } and in the real range is a little more QdXx maybe

i like the "not betting after flop" from rockman

well thing is this is the first time i'veseen the villain. i hadn't seen him get into any preflop 3bet wars or make raises, generally he just got out of the way in pots over 30 hands or so. so i figured him for the type to be able to make laydowns.

i think i rep 109 on this river, but with the turn bringing 2 possible flush suits it might make a decent handreader weigh my huge river bet a bit more heavily on a busted flush draw rather than 109. looking back imo this is pretty butchered all around as my total range is very very weak...i do not think this is good. HOWEVER, a river checraise would be pretty sick but again, i rep nothing in my total range

results: villain pussed out and folded his probable queen

yeah the draw is definitely pisspoor weak, i would probably have let it go if i got raised from behind on flop. nothing is even clean lol
