And 77 seems twice as reasonable and 3 times more probable.. (edit: oh he had a 7, so not that probable, but id place it higher than KQd, still river overbet seems like a straith.. dunno)
Checking KQd there is a good move, but most good players wont do it anyway. Checking 89c is much more probable as well imo.

It would be a lot easier to rule out a bluff if your turn bet was stronger imo.

Peace of mind cant be bought.
