floating usually means you make an attempt at taking down the pot....as floating means you're calling with a worse hand to bluff at further streets.

... Loco.... floating means you intentionally call to bluff at the next street... usually when you suspect someone to have overs and misses flop.

Floating usually involves betting once AK AQ etc gives up and checks to you on the turn.... hence position is usually need.

"Float" the flop OOP.... frontbet turn, and get reraised by AA.... putting in flop bet and pot sized turn bet with nothing and no good idea of villan's hand strength = notsogood
