I would argue that 4bet shoving preflop gives him the opportunity to fold most of his lower 3bet range which are the hands I beat, whereas being in position if I just call he is relatively likely to put in another bet on the flop, which is where I agree I should have raised. Big_Rob can you explain why you think JJ/AXs/KQs etc are calling a pf shove here? Or do you want them to fold and win as small a pot as possible, or is your plan just to be super aggro when getting coolered so you can feel proud that you made the "right" play?
