why meal?

he got it all in with ease i dont see any point as he has a much higher chance of folding if he raised it to 3

dry ass flop and no possible scare cards to come

but his value would be pretty small if villain folded... + he's a medium stack so assuming flop and turn bets he can get it all in easy by the river

wouldnt it be better to bet smallish like hero did with more likelihood villain will call while still having big enough pot to make it all in by river??

no he cant and yes there cards that can possibly scare him cause he didnt open he's opponent did which he could have opened easily with AA-JJ and turn and river can help them still i would still raise more than 2$ maybe 2.25-2.50 to be sure.

And no the point of betting low is that you letting him see free cards that maybe are not good for you for example like i mentioned he didn't open villain did so if he didn't re-raise he putting on a villain on a range of AA-JJ.
