with XYo you flop a pair 35% of the time, so your flopping the J 18% or so, or once every 5.5 times ;(
with XYs thogh you flop flush draws 10% of the time, so you hit top pair + 10% flush draw - 28% of flops become playable, far better to have suited hand in this spot |
