Most people bet draw, and there is very few draws here.
Only hands that pay you off (decent players) by front betting are overpairs. If your opponement have anything else than an overpair/draw/maybe low pair, he probably fold unless hes stupid.
A front bet pretty much indicate "i have a pair". and most decent opponemnets will just fold their overcards.
A check raise will get you money from other hands and certainly still get you money from the KK.
Note that if your hand was, 87, i like the front bet (or any other kind of weak hand). But here you have a monster |
