he had a flush draw as well, he made you give him the odds because you just called

I started out with nothing and I still got most of it left

what are you talking about his play is perfectly fine and standard, you made big mistakes on flop and turn

He had very good odds. Any 5 plus any diamond = 11 cards to hit the turn and any 9 on the river so 14 to hit turn. 24% + 30% = 54 percent to hit(I think) You called his bets giving himself pot odds as well as obligating yourself.

so if you knew about his flushdraw why did you imply that he was betting "2/3 pot on a gutshot" when in fact only 4 of his outs were gutshot outs

i was speaking not being results orriented.... but in the perspective of me at the table.

flush doesnt hit and he still bets pot... so I was like "wtf"

mad1337nes   United States. Mar 27 2006 14:42. Posts 2414

and its funny... all my hands that are worth discussing dont get dicussed... but a small pot hand that really doesnt matter for anything gets like 10 replies.

and wtf is with people trying to explain odds to me..... like i dont know odds/pot odds?
