Flush draw on board. Bet harder. Espescially on turn (he probably would have called anyway. top pair is the nuts!). |

You could have bet a little harder on flop and turn, so that he would not have got enough $ left to make a call +EV.
betting the river was probably a misstake, as he would probably have played AK, and most calling hand you had beat stronger on such a board. |
