i would prolly fold

and i mean "how the hell u fold that" a pretty nitty regular will show AA there like 70++% of the time.

my logic : i havent gotten KK vs AA in a while, so this looks like the perfect spot.

How big is your stat sample size on him? if it was like 1000 hands I would consider folding but I call but he is not full-stack...he would do this with AKs QQ or who knows JJ? 10-10? I instant call him.

I cant believe YOU fold this, lost some respect for you man

Seat 1: Shermod ($100.40 in chips) how is that not full stack on nl100

and no regulars dont do that with JJ, 1010 and prolyl not QQ on nl100.

why reraise to half a buyin and then fold to a push?? This is stupid, instacall.

Look at his hand and equities, what do you expect him to have here, uno cards? - TianYuan

i would personally raised to like 35 to save some more if push and i then think he has AA (a push over a 3rd bet is very rare), but still its "only" 40% of his stack, he can still save 60%, you ppl that say instacall could please say why as well? It feels like youre saying it more for the sake of it than actually thinking about what the opponents only hand rly is.

1. He has 40$ invested.
2. I put my opponent on AK, QQ, and yes even JJ (Unless I have a solid read)

I would only fold this if its a big sample size, his aggression factor is low, and I would fold it after his FIRST RE-RAISE.

If I know he will re-raise me with AK, QQ, JJ I would go broke here.

Do you play nl100? I dont play at stars but my prima experience tells me that the only hand besides AA is AK in this situation, QQ and JJ just flat call the 3rd bet like 90% of the time.

I agree it depends on sample size, since regulars (and specially multitabling regulars) way of playing theese hands differs enormous from none, but i take is as this is a regular.

vs a random of c instacall.

I dont play 100nl but I have been trying it out for past week or so. Its not alot different from 50nl I must say.

I see QQ, JJ push this as well all the time at 50nl. They are more likely to have AK than AA here UNLESS I know his betting style and aggression. 12/10 is tight I agree, I would be surprised to see JJ, but QQ is not out of the question.

but if you have $40 invested arleady its an instant call unless he has a deeper stack bigger than $150 atleast.

albonycee   United States. Feb 08 2007 16:25. Posts 2749

sample size on him is 250 hands, in which the only big hand he has shown down is when i stacked his AQ with AK in a 3 bet pot.
he is 12/10/2.8 total and 10/4 at this table.
other than that he has shown 3 other insignificant hands in 250 total.
as far as time tells he instashoved my reraise.
i dont think he does this with QQ and AK as much as with AA here so this would be neutral EV if not -EV vs him.
ive never folded in this situation in the past, so i guess im trying to reinforce some disipline into my game.
