Your missing something for sure. You can just look up the answers in the sim these days to check if A7s is a profitable defend or not, instead of relying on intuition.

very interesting, so you basically x minr most low dry flop then cbet turn then xf? Obv it always depend but in general. I wouldn't think that was a good defend either but I'm surprised, and I honestly do not get it, not saying it's wrong but it sure does seem

I don't think the 4b is too small, maybe could make it slightly bigger since it's 120bb but the sizing is def within the normal range (2.2~2.4x is fine INP). I'd make it bigger next time if someone called me with A7s.

It's a common theme when you work with solvers and look at what HS players do

In my view people pick their IP 3bet/4bet sizes to be a little too small. Most z200 regs are under 2.5x for 4bets, it can be exploited by calling wide and checkfolding flops at a highish frequency. I'm not sure why this is such a common mistake since the sims have been out there for a while now.

yea thats actually pretty much me. I was playing NL200 10 years ago, and don't know anything about sims or solvers. But if this is what a profitable line is today when 2 regs are playing then poker changed extremely.

not sure about 4B pots
but in 3bet pots you will see a cbet + minraise + min-re-raise quite a bit lol

And you use RNG, a lot of hands like these will be close to 0 EV so you mix them in some of the time
