not even that cute, kinda standard. Could go slightly larger flop or slightly smaller turn but this is fine

lookes like something someone who has played for a week would do

so you go 2 on the flop and jam 10.5 11 into 8.5 on the turn? or even bigger on the flop? makes very little difference and this line gets value just fine

at higher stakes you would see something like 1.5 - 3.5 - jam on this board nearly always

baron himself probably goes with lemon's sizing. he likes 1/4 pot sometimes even less on tons of flops. especially ones like these

Spitfiree   Bulgaria. Aug 11 2016 23:21. Posts 9634

I highly doubt baron does that a lot OOP

I think he meant the turn sizing is awful. We have him utterly dominated and are forcing him to fold hands that should call smaller sizings

that i dont disagree with.

Was just cruising HSNL and came across this hand which is somewhat relevant as far as flop sizing goes

Well off top i said turn should be smaller. I didnt think it was standard just reasonable but slightly off and not cute. in this hand pre is obv standard and river is only size it can be based on flop turn bets. So only things up for debate were possibly flop and turn. Baal slammed the sizing as awful without specifying a street (which if the problem lies in one specific street people usually indicate it) so i just assumed he was being critical of flop as well. Oops

traxamillion   United States. Aug 13 2016 22:19. Posts 10468

And since i thought flop was alright i focused on that, i thought turn was bad and agreed so didnt bring that up. Caradion and spitfire indicated they had a problem with flop even if baal and everyone else didnt so that elicited some of my response also

I think sizing is at least as important when it's a fish.... You have a lot of his range dead to 2 outs with stacks shallow enough that you can bet much less and comfortably jam river, so why make it this huge on turn?

Hm.. Off-suite socks..

sizing doesn't matter

It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen
